The biggest problem with Bollywood is, that they don't support each other.
Whenever any tollywood movie releases, other actors support the movie by promoting it among their fans.
But Bollywood people are silent even at this point.

I am a hindu, went with my family to watch Pathaan yesterday. I went to support Shah Rukh Khan and his family. I was never his fan and in college we were in the rival gang. But all this shows that we have grown up with such actors and we loved the crazy banter and cheesy dialogues that we booed. So now I cannot bear some party coming and telling me that boycott his movie because he is a Khan/Muslim. No i shall not accept that crap. Thankfully the movie was fun had super slick action sequence and as Akaash said the dialogue s were just amazing, you'll have a nice smile on your face listening to them. And lastly patriotism was filled to the brim showing us that it is not necessary that only one community can take the right or franchise of patriotism and I support the Pathaan view. Loved it. Loads of love and success to SRK and his family too.

This movie really shows why SRK is the King of Bollywood. I am not really his fan but he finally got Bollywood a win after a long time.

As a Hindi speaker I was tired of listening to the so-called demise of the Bollywood and how South Indian movies are taking over. No issues with South Indian movies. I enjoy them but the South Indian movie made against his local backdrop cannot hit the local notes with the Hindi belt viewers. My appetite of South Indian dubbed was getting full. Sooner or later a movie from Bollywood was going to come along and it did in Pathan.

Same thing was said about certain other entertainers who played lead roles well into their middle age - famously: Dev Anand, Rajesh Khanna, Dharmendra, South stars Raj Kumar, NTR, Mamooty... Even Amitabh bachchan was doing action romantic roles and playing the gharelu "ladka" at the age of 50+ when it was seeming all too absurd and unpalatable. Some fans kept encouraging him and he kept going and since he had money, power, fame and he was a huge deal, nobody would want to voice their opinion. So he got away with it even until the late 1990's, even if many promising younger talents were not even given a chance. Only after his miserable investment debacle in ABCL and he lost much of the clout he held did the producers begin to dare to look elsewhere. People then began their "chee-chee Thoo-thoo" and he became an embarassment. Fortunately he redeemed himself in early 2000's with Mohabbatein, K3G and KBC, but the same resurgence cannot be guaranteed for other names. Let's hope it doesn't get as ugly for the Khans who are now pushing 60.

I can't remember the last time I wanted a Bollywood movie to be successful so desperately and success of Pathaan makes me genuinely happy. This was a success Bollywood as an industry needed and so did SRK and even John Abraham (someone I completely had no hopes for). I cannot hope that this changes the industry drastically but here's to wishing that they learn to create better, collaborate and continue the streak that Pathaan started.

What a comeback by King Khan 👑 I watched first day first show of Pathaan and i can't express my happiness in words. This movie has got everything that audience wants to watch in theaters. Top notch action with spectacular bgm by Vishal-Sheykhar. I loved the music and everyone was buzzing when Jhoome jo pathaan played. Everyone started dancing. Never seen crzae for any movie like this. Special points - Direction and VFX are of top level. Hat's off to Sidharth Anand and his team for making this movie. Salman bhai's cameo made people crazy in theatre. His presence made Pathaan larger than life. I loved John and Deepika's acting they delivered very good performances. Especially John was amazing in his role of a super villain. He is born to be a villain and gave us vibes of Dhoom 1. Srk is the best actor and his performance as an action hero is just unbelievable he did action with poise. He made us excited for his upcoming action movie Jawaan. Overall I want to give this movie 5/5 stars 🌟 but i think SRK is bigger than these stars he is a SUPERSTAR and he has proved it again. Pathaan is a blockbuster. Go and enjoy with your family!

As a neutral audience trust me the movie is top notch ...a never seen before action sequences..A must watch movie especially in theatres..Siddharth anand is a great action director ..John's character will be remembered forever.The movie never lets you feel bored and entry of TIGER is the best part of whole movie

This movie shows how firm a person can be. I called this movie trash and I still stick by it. Just viewing the trailer I can tell it is a mix of COD modern wafare + sasta Mission impossible + Indian masala.

Must admit as a Srk fan, that Salman Khan screen presence is so stunning. Just when the movie was dipping , Salman revived it. It is upto these two superstars to revive Bollywood

Although, i see the theaters are empty in most locations around India ( i just checked out of curiosity after seeing claims of record breaking advance booking).
