- Totally unbiased video, completely spitting nothing but facts. Do you suck at bossing in MapleStory? Are you sick and tired of dying out and your guildmates laughing at you? Well, you might as well throw away your hands, because Dual Blade is one of the easiest bossing classes in the game. You have built in life steal passive (10% chance to heal), a three (3) second i-frame, and another i-frame, you have access to Dark Sight (you can eat Lotus, Gloom, Darknell, Black Mage falling debris), and even more!

What class do you main in MapleStory, and do you think it's good at bossing? 👀
Wind archer, and i think he is decent
Dual blade we think the same, love the s and cd skip inner ability sum the new legion artifact cd skip and u have more % chance to proc, but I feel that it’s hard to hit the whole blade tempest on BM p3 without gene 😢
Dual Blade, for all the things you mentioned + high ied & skills that do true dmg which I think is huge in this game.
Hero, although I have a low cd , I do die like a dumbass sometimes...but hell i hit like a truck
Xenon, and yes it’s really good at bossing. Sometimes a pain when charging but it’s a good pay off.
(I use to main DB, and I use to clown people who play NL first to level up faster.)

I like the appeal of the class but I had sort of decided already to play PF...do you have experience with PF and have any comparison on how their bossing feels? Thanks
What do you use for upjump on the class? I only have him at level 202 but I probably spent 2 minutes trying to get up on a platform because the best thing I could do was double flash jump and launch myself forward at a 45 degree angle. I found it has great horizontal movement but if that is the only way to go upwards, then it has to be one of the worst classes going vertically.
I actually asked my grandma and she prefers Blaster.
I love dual blade especially with cd hat . I really like low cooldown skills and with such high damage output at the same time. Skills like this let me login and play the skills without worrying to have to wait 2min or 3min cooldown most of the time. It has survivability skills, fun mobbing once u get cd hat. Great bossing too and with the origin skills adding the burst that dual blade always needed to his arsenal, it becomes one of the most complete unique class with jack of all trades
That's why I love Mihile and Royal Guard. 6cd 4sec duration i-frame
Does cooldown hat affect it?
@@MichaelSEhcscimyes but not in the way you think since RG is already below 10 seconds CD. It works as a percentage. Cooldown of RG can go to 5sec (which is the limit for cd skills) with a CD hat and Merc legion.

Came back to MS, hyper burned a mercedes in reboot but realized i could have became the dual blade i didn't get to be back in interactive server. Definitely gonna be my second main.

Bosses that pwn me: all but 7.. My goal is 15 weekly solo clears... But I will not decline Boss Carries xD
I also would pick db over the other 2 but most ppl skip db not cause of the kit but cause of the mobbing and lack of dmg/ pt bossing
Why people are recently hating on the class? I remember pre revamp it was the go to class between shadower and dual blade

Hmm dont you need your cd hat and wings of fate? I wanted to play db in reboot as a main but that two alone made me realize its going to be pain for a VERY lobg time before he can actually be on par... also bis is sweet water katara? Ouch...db is definetly not free
Sadly the game took a shift towards a more competitive damage focussed meta. Playing a “weak” class just doesn’t appeal to people regardless of how fun and flashy it is. People want performance from their mains.

@@rngesus992I get where you’re coming from, but in endgame parties, other classes will be picked over DB due to providing more damage or util. That said, if you’re willing to accept that and still find DB more fun, I say go for it.
@@rngesus992 fun with damage is an option. There is more than 1 appealing class. DB loses appeal because its weak.
Play whatever you like just remember night walker is best thief and second is mercedes yes you read that right
This is certainly one of the opinions of all time.
The only issue I have with duel blade compared to other bossing mule is that it’s just weak :( compare to making a demon slayer, dawn warrior, hero, shadower night walker night lord the list goes on lol

As a DB main lvl 280, i completely disagree with his sayings. The class is just fun to play nothing else. Has no damage, what are your s useful if NL would clap a boss twice as fast as you with the same stats simply because of the huge damage difference. Wouldn’t recommend DB atm for no one unless you don’t care about your damage input and just want to play a fun nice looking class . Simply not in the meta AT ALL and I think most of Dbs will agree. #BUFFDB

Early game yes, but with 2 fmas and a decent -cd hat its actually pretty up there.

class use last resort twice in 3 minutes, one of which is without gene , you then hold a keydown for 5 seconds and spin as a useless owl for another 5 sec.
10 seconds of severe invulnerability, really easy to die to mechanical bosses.
id rather sit as a NL for 3 mins, just dodge and burst every 3 mins.
i wouldn't say DB survives better.
I love my DW, love my Hero I threw 750 nodes at DB and said eff that thing I just cannot play it and it feels like i do no damage.
When most of this game comes down to how much dmg you can do in 25s on basically a dummy in a pt setting, I would recommend nobody to play DB outside of a pure solo progression context.
I see a DB doing Hkaling, current hardest boss cleared on reboot. And Kalos getting cooldown to shoot 50% will definitely allow more dpm, as cleansing will be almost instant. XLotus is very viable for classes with s, hp regen etc. all other bosses can be cleared by anyone. Just another point of view, but I also see your point
