Finished this book less than a month ago. I'm a GK fan so I'm biased, that said, I really thought it was more about the path not taken and/or "what if?". Spoilers!? The book starts off pretty close to the climax, think "Saving Private Ryan". Then once the blood and guts are cleared away by servitors, you see the book was really about people, main character mostly, and the short pauses he has as he looks back on his life and the decisions he's made to get him where he is. Along with this I also got the feeling the book dived a little into the SM and women much more than most books I've read from Black Library. It recognizes there would be awkward silences, complete social faux pas, and the constant acknowledgement there would be only source of sexual frustration... leaving our character in his my mind, what would his life be like, if he never became a Grey Knight. I think that the Astartes being infertile has been talked about enough, I really don't care either way, I'm more interested in the informal interpersonal actions women would have with Astartes. We men, like 97% of the audience, have thought about it, but what from a woman's perspective on how teenagers and boys can be sent off to "War" and come home something different. Remember, the women in 40k can still find SM attractive physically and mentally, but the SM can't/doesn't know how to reciprocate.

Love the art, always great stories. But bro, expand your vocabulary. Crucible is a fun word but 8 crucibles per video is too many crucibles

Nothing but love brother and an undying desire for you to succeed, as you should. Yours faithfully, a subscriber
I appreciate you and anyone helping me get better
