Hey Kev, the new nishiki colorado sport is actually using the frame from the colorado comp from the yester years...which is the frame of the colorado comp you had before.
My black and red hyper shocker I turn into a gravel bike what Tempe handles and I promise you if I just like a travel 10-speed bike in his fast for a bike I start with worthless turn out to be one of my favorite bikes I have info I can hold my own with a 10-speed❤💯🔥
Great to wake up and find this video I started watching it but must start proceeding to get ready for work in a few hours so I will be watching it throughout the day I think I will take a look at a basic Schwinn Axum I do have a much older Schwinn ranger and even the feeling that it gives when I push it around or ride it it has a feeling that I don't get from other bikes at the feeling of precision crisp and clean feelings I think this upcoming year maybe the year of a new bike I was fortunate last year and picked up the Ozark trail ridge m.2 and the revised version of the Ozark trail vibe I really like the vibe for just zipping around it's easy to get in and out of the house really enjoy that one it's a lot of fun
27:10 If that is a genuine Schwinn Signature series, even the older tech like rim brakes will be radically better quality than what is on a walmart bike. High quality rim brakes work great except in the rain and even then it's not that bad. Schwinn Signature series bicycles have absolutely nothing in common with Kmart or Target or Walmart Schwinn bikes. Totally different company. Schwinn Signature is the old Schwinn, the bike shop Schwinn. Of course, they have probably sold out the last asset Schwinn has a quality bike manufacturer. Nobody thinks of Schwinn regular at least as a quality bike. The cheapest Schwinn Signiture bike I've ever seen in the last 6-8 years is $500.
I heard they were scaling down and laying off but not going away. Is there other news I’m not aware of? When I heard they were pulling out of DSG and trying to make it an IBD product I was concerned that wasn’t a good move. Maybe they’ll turn it around. I think that has dreams of duplicating Diamondback when it moved from DSG and found subsequent success outside of Big Box.
2:25 I hate that Walmart does this crap. If I wanted a random company, I'd be on Amazon. Walmart is far, far worse than Amazon at being a cheap imitation of Amazon. The ONE good thing that Walmart has is that I can go to the store after I find what I want. They are very deceptive about it too. I will NEVER order anything from Walmart. I will only ever buy in store.
I’ve been slowly transitioning more and more of my online purchases to Walmart+. The shipping times are faster. That said, I do NOT like the way marketplace items blend in with everything else. At least with Amazon you can tell by the Prime identifier most of the time
@@KevCentral Amazon plays all kinds of games that make me want to pull what little hair I have out of my head. Like fake prices matched with outrageous shipping to get higher in the search results. Sponsored search results. All kinds of nonsense. I almost bought a bike on amazon, until I realized it had a 350 Dollar shipping. You are younger than me and have probably never lived in the before internet world as an adult. The US economy was not based on fraud, lies and deception back then. Computers worked well. Subscriptions were for newspapers and magazines. If you gave a company your name and address, they might have hit you with a mailed advertisement once in a while, but they didn't immediately sell everything about you to whoever and without regard for what was in your best interest. Today, even the DMV sells all of your information. They require you by law to get their ID and then they sell the information you had to give them under black letter law to the highest bidder. Almost every state is doing this including mine. The whole US economy is based on fraud, theft, lies... There are some aspects which are improved over the past. But most are just worse.

I'll be getting myself a Gira Viaggio Gravel Bike from Academy
Thanks for the video

Since e bikes are becoming a thing might be better to wait until after Christmas
I purposely didn’t include ebikes since some of the best require shipping…and most ebike shoppers buy bikes for themselves
No Schwinn Taff Comps, so sad.
Haven’t seen any available. I’m also trying to keep this list to things immediately available for last minute panic situations
Wow I would like to be in a panic situation@@KevCentral

Schwinn signature is still sold in bike shops I think. The signature bikes are made to a higher standard. Good stuff
GT going away. Did you hear? 😢
