I went alone in age 17 Vancouver to Seoul South Korea 11 hours I had no complains about airplane is gonna crash or hit by a storm I just relax listening music or watch movies and eat my food and sleep it's a long flight by my self still contact my friends and family by using airport wifi not in the plane but only arrive in Korea airport
If your not a legal minor and uder the age of 20 then you have the choice to fly with it without the unaccompanied minors package,If your a minor the you do need to fliy with the package,you will have a flight attendant to escort you to the gate,and you will be led onto the plane before others. In air the people that take care of you is the whole staff on the plane,so children mist be mature enough to not need nor call for a flight attendant every two seconds,then you will be led of the plane before others with a flight attendant,and if you sent luggage under then they will esscort you to pick up the bags and help you get yours,then if you have more then one or it's too big or you just dont wanna take it they will take your luggage,then depending on what airline you use you wont need to have your bags checked,then they will take you to a special exit were you will sit down and wait for the pepole picking you up to show in proof and send a message to your perents or guardians.After that all you do is go were your supposed to go uder the care of the people that picked you up and your no longer the responsibility of the airline.
each airline has its own program for unaccompanied minors... British airways has hosted little classroom sessions onboard to teach kids about the flight their on or about the destination
