The money stefan would lose spending the time, researching your location, networking and trying to builders, finding the best solicitors and , driving four hours to view properties, managing refurbishment, qualifying and finding letting agents etc far exceeds the fee that he pays for this service Does that not make sense?
@@harveygrowthproperties It makes some sense. There is value in having vetted contacts like builders and definitely managing the refurb (but is that really included?). Maybe for Stefan there was good value but not all sourced deals require a refurb and some are already tenanted. If someone like Stefan could buy the same property direct from the agent, if he's smart then he'll realise that you've already researched the area and viewed the property. There is not £5k of value in a solicitor and letting agent recommendation. Also Stefan will need to spend some time vetting your credentials, that offsets any time saved by finding the deal himself. I'm not trying to be provocative or disrespectful, I'd even consider some sorced deals myself, I'm just saying sometimes it'll be worth it, others not. But it mainly depends on who the sourcer is and if they even know any builders, and you trust that those builders are good and price reasonably
