For everyone saying they can't buy the gear bc is locked or doesn't show up,that means you have to keep getting your current tier gear in order to reach the next tier. Every tier gear has a minimum level attached to it,if you don't reach that level you won't be able to advance.

You should get messages from the different heroes/villains once you hit a particular combat rating. Also, you’ll be able to tell because let’s say your tier 1, tier 3 gear will be locked for you.
. So I got some cool Shazam hand gear but I can’t wear them whenever I have a weapon on and if I don’t then I can’t use my hand blaster attacks. Cn I get the very basic gloves anywhere? Like the level 1 kind

I’m not sure if something changed since you made these videos, but tier 5 starts at 210, and Tier 6 begins at 280. I believe tier 7 begins at 310.
They did change all the tiers at this point

So you can understand better, tier one gear is the first gear you should get once you hit level 30
