South Africa - Violence Aftermath & Mass Burial

(3 Jul 1994) Five blacks were killed early on Saturday (2/7) in political violence in Tokoza township east of Johannesburg. Police said earlier at least two people had been found shot dead and a resident of the township told reporters three people had been killed. The shootings took place hours before a funeral in Tokoza for four ANC supporters who were killed in the township a week ago.
