The Fridericus Rex Grenadier March ( Army March II, 136 ( Army March II, 198)) was composed in the mid-1860s by the Prussian military musician Ferdinand Radeck . In the Trio des Marsches he used the melody with which the composer Carl Loewe wrote the ballad Fridericus Rex ( Latin for Frederick the Great) , written shortly before by Willibald Alexis in 1837 ) had underlaid. During this time of the Prussian expansion policy, in which Frederick the Great was again greatly admired, both Radeck's march and Loewe's ballad with his name enjoyed great popularity.

you don’t want to be born back then either and go die in trench. I wish I was born in 1950s so I could grow up to see my country in its prime years. I’ve heard from my parents and relatives how much better Armenia was during Soviet time but now they are very poor and getting poorer.
