I was on the fence about abortion until Oct 20, 1988. On that day, when I was only 26 weeks pregnant, I gave birth to my daughter. She weighed 1 pound, 10 ounces. Over the next 3 months, I saw her fight to survive. Thanks to God and the NICU doctors and nurses at Texas Children's Hospital, she did. Today, she's a mom of 2 boys and one on the way!

It was 1984- I was 20, homeless, unemployed and pregnant. My catholic family abandoned me. “We cannot condone your behavior”. I was utterly alone. My so called friends told me to JUST GET AN ABORTION.
I was raised Catholic and I knew I was carrying another person inside my body.
I couldn’t do it.
Today, she’s 38, a beautiful mother of three!!! She never was mine to kill. I’m glad I followed Jesus.
BUT GOD!!! God rescued us!!

The Dr is too far gone smh! 21 yrs ago my child father gave me the money for an abortion and I reluctantly agreed. Got to the clinic and drove right past to get a crib. Told him later that night that I'm having My baby with or without him. He came around a few months later , we raised our child together and motherhood was one of the best experiences of my life. I'm glad I fought past my fears and stood my ground! 🙏👑 All Praises To The Most High and that Source of InnerG within me that I passed along.

I’m glad you didn’t go through with it. My wife and I got pregnant a month into when we started dating. Before that happened I always thought if something like that happened an abortion was a possibility, my wife felt the same but once we got pregnant it never even crossed our mind. Now we have been together for 17 years and we have a daughter who just turned 16 and I can’t imagine having had an abortion.

I had an abortion when I was a teenager. At the time all I could think of was myself, I wanted to get rid of it so I would not be tied down. I was selfish. Years later it catches up with you, my heart aches for my baby and that ache never goes away. It's impossible to forgive myself. I'm 64, it really hit me what I did when I was in my 30's.

my mother took me at 17 to have my baby killed, I was 16 weeks pregnant. It broke my heart. Its an agony that grows more intense with each passing year and essentially destroyed my relationship with my mother. My baby would be 49 yrs old this year.
I saw your comment and I wanted to say that I sympathize with you. While I have never experienced an abortion, I have made decisions that were not the best. I want to tell you that forgiveness is possible. I don’t know if you are believer in Christ, if you are, I know that He can heal you and comfort you. Forgiveness is available. I did it too. I lived with shame most of my life, from it. But before I did it all I could think was get this thing out of me. I totally know what you mean when you say selfish. I was. I have had 3 healthy pregnancies since then and when I first felt my first child move, my life changed forever. I cannot tell other people what to do with their bodies but I ask them to consider the voiceless child, who God created with purpose and to consider that purpose. How might your child change your life, the world, even, given the basic human right, to live past society’s selfishness. God will forgive you. And your child will meet you on the other side with love but you won’t know them. You never held their hand when they took their first steps, you didn’t laugh with pride when they first said their first words, you never kissed their forehead when they fell asleep. Yet they will love you before they even met you. Can you live with that? It’s not easy and I beg you to prayerfully consider what I’ve said.
The regret and pain of knowing what you did after becoming more informed is the hardest thing to try and overcome. The pain of knowing what you did in later years is the most awful pain ever that continues to hurt no matter the time passing. People, don't do it.!! I have asked our Lord Christ and God to forgive me daily, for I was selfish, egotistic and vain when I chose to do this. You cannot take this back.
It is truly an evil act that whispers into your ears....once you give in , the devil will try to take hold of your entire world/life. I gave myself to our Lord Jesus Christ and the Father God after realizing just what I did and asked for forgiveness and to remove the evil from my life. I now have children, grandchildren and live as well as I can to serve our Lord. God is good. He is my savior.
My sister was raped, and decided to get an abortion, she went to the abortion clinic, and said to herself,I can't do this, and walked out,she had the baby,she had a baby girl,she named her Hannah, Hannah is now 27 years old and is a registered Nurse, beautiful, Smart young lady, and loves God.

On July 26th, 1976 I was DATE raped and as a result I got pregnant. He was my manager where I worked.
When I went to a Dr, the very 1st thing he asked me was if I wanted an abortion - my answer shocked me as I automatically wrapped my arms around my tummy and yelled out forcefully "NOOO"!! I had that idea somehow that I should "just get rid of it", I couldn't see "it" as a human being until then, and I made the best decision of my life that day!! Today that baby is a wonderful father of 3, a Grandfather of 3, and a great contributor to the world in general, living a real life with real values, teaching his family these lessons and helping them and others live their best lives, through whatever life throws our way we can overcome ❤!!!

I could have had him charged, and if I hadn't gotten pregnant I most likely would have pursued some sort of charge, but if I had done that, my son would have had to live with the stigma of being born from rape, I told no one except one trusted friend, and my husband, who I married when my little guy was 5!!! Almost 40 years ago, I finally told my son, all his children a, re adults now, I finally told him the circumstances, he was 42, he cried, he even thanked me, that surprised me, I told him " no thanks needed ", turns out he was a miracle, and we've been truly blessed!!

Actually hurting a small child is one of the worst sins. Rape is not even numbered among the 7 deadliest. I was 19 when my now wife got pregnant. We talked about abortion, we didn't do it. I thank God and cry all the time when I see my beautiful daughter, who is now about to be 18. For the life of me, I can't think about where I'd be without her. I lost my mother when she was 18 months. I found my mother and did cpr, it haunted me, and I took pills for 4 yrs. My daughter hugging me one day when I came home from work and made me realize that pills weren't the answer. She truly saved my life and marriage. Can't believe I put this out on youtube.

I actually feel like that is one of the most important parts of the video. It reminds me of a Billy Joel song called "shades of gray" which is basically about him becoming older and wiser and with that seeing the world in shades of gray instead of black and white in one part he says " Now with the wisdom of years, I try to reason things out, and the only people I fear, are those who never have doubts. Save ourselves from arrogant men, and all the causes they're for, I won't be righteous again, I'm not that sure anymore." This doctor took this discussion all the way from abortion to the darkest point of racism by using the “N” word. From what I can tell, this interview was supposed to be about abortion. The doctor was definitely on the hot seat. Very enjoyable segment. Mr. Peterson was cool and smooth and made the doctor realize how wrong he was. Unborn child-1 point, doctor- 0. Nuff said!!

I'm pretty sure his clinic was in either Birmingham or Huntsville, but thanks to Roe being overturned it's now closed. So unless he moved to another state or finally had a crisis of conscience, he's no longer practicing as an abortion provider.
We weren't one of the states with a trigger law but we outlawed abortion in Alabama maybe 6 hours after the Supreme Court announcement. I love living in the South, morals are still a thing around here.

So, ultimately, the question which needs to be asked f this physician, is how he feels about sex and gender.
