But yeah it was an actual good story same as tales of the Rays for a mobile tales story. I stopped playing as it was repetitive but it was still a great game to reimagine the cast.
Sadly, I couldn't play Tales of the Rays since the global version closed before I could get my hands on it, but I played Tales of Link. The first season was mostly boring but the second one was good. But yeah, the repetitiveness in the gameplay is probably this game's biggest problem. I feel like there's way more that could be done, especially for events and such. Anyway, I hope Bamco won't close the global version before the whole story is out or I'll probably get a withdrawal syndrome from lack of Vicious.

I was having such a great time as I was happy more people were playing tales and getting to know the series as is underated for a long time in the west. Crestoria was so fun and I managed to get Luke almost all the way to np 5 if we use fgo numbers and he was my favorite of the whole tales series and favorite male in gaming period as his story is so amazing to show someone can truly change if they aspire to it. Oh yeah I've been a tales fan since high school as I asked my friend for any games that had 4 players ai adventure and level ups. She showed me tales of xillia and after that I bought every game I could find and loved every one. When taless of arise comes if it goes on PS4 I'll get it.

Velvet for Smash Ultimate when ? lol Dayum, I bought Abyss recently (years late, I know) and you make me want to play it! I still have to finish Persona Q2 first, though. Symphonia used to be my favorite Tales Of with Emil as my favorite protagonist (him overcoming his self-confidence issues made a huge impression on me when I was in middle school), but then Xillia 2 appeared and Ludger took that spot. God, that game gave me so many feels ... Nice :D Tales of Arise seems like it'll be pretty different from the usual Tales Of. I wonder how much (°-°)
@@kumirapau-chan9880 it's because overseas loves dragon quest a lot being dragon ball inspired and final fantasy as cloud is so edgy. Tales keeps to more traditional magical world with a post tragety angle as they live in a time after a great society went to ruins. It's quite scary when you think about it like in xillia 2 where ludger destoryed a world that went to ruin(off topic but xillia 2 did HF better as all the endings were logical to ludgers Character in his brother his life and Elle's life which all got me growing up) Abyss is a fun game. Graces is best for gameplay but abyss the story got me crying growing up as I relate to Luke more as I age especially the ending and quite loves the story every playthrough. Emil I connected to as he was basically me shy and unable to speak up and I found his Motto "courage is the magic that turns dreams into reality" something everyone should hear.
Basically what Ivan said above. Thankfully, since the main cast is specific to this game and the other characters get a new backstory, there's no need to play all the Tales of games to enjoy it.
@@kumirapau-chan9880 it also retells Character stories and gives new rolls to each member of the cast. Luke for example I love how him and Alicia work so well together as Alicia is basically tear and Natalia fuses together and funny how it works so well as a team up. All tales games are unique so it's easy to get lost but the gacha game does a good job in retelling old tales into new ways.
@@ivanbluecool Yes, exactly! The characters interactions with people from other games feel very natural and I love it ^^ Another I liked was Velvet and Senel. They don't interact much, but the few moments they had felt very meaningful. And the whole Cless/Mint/Emil/Marta team is amazing.
@@kumirapau-chan9880 yeah all the team ups feel fan service but in a good way as everyone is a new person in the game and we can see how they could interact with the new cast yet still have thier own stories retold. Made me appreciate the old cast more as well just seeing how each story went. Too bad I at play it anymore but it was fun and a great step for tales. Luke Alicia muzet is a nice group as well and Emil is just so cool as Marta still found him even in this game. That's love.
