It’s decided on both - it’s basic economics ffs
Anyone who’s ever taken economics knows that’s not true.... demand is determined mainly from supply.... if there’s not a lot of a card it becomes more desirable
If a card is very rare then it will have a higher demand. Also if a card is highly playable it will have a very high demand

I'm 31 and I have never pulled a Charizard in my life. I bought 5 Evolutions packs yesterday and pulled the Charizard EX full art and the reverse holographic Charizard. Needless to say, I freaked out haha

I bought three of these last year for £120 each so I’m pretty glad they’ve gone up so much!
Bruh I got a Venusaur and Celebi Tag team box for $30 and it has 4 packs and only 1 of them was a XY Evolutions. But, in that one pack I got a holo charizard. IN ONE PACK I GOT THE HOLO CHARIZARD. I also pulled it yesterday from the day I am writing this comment.

This set only has Charmander as a starter buh, very unfortunate but you won't ever be getting bulbasaur or squirtle. Great video tho m8 im a huge fan of evolutions, Ive collected 95% of the set myself and pulled 3/5 zards almost there!

The prices of xy evolutions booster box’s seem to have dropped a little, the hype seems to have died down a little 🤔

Guys I need your help. I found my old pokemon cards the other day and found a couple of unlimited good to great condition holographics (Ninetales, hitmonchan) and a holo jungle base vaporeon (not first edition). Also found a Mew promo card (number 8), a perfect mind condition defence deoxys from Holo phantoms set, and a gold star (next to its name) near mint (tiny bit of whiting and one scratch on front) holo regice, and the same card in mint condition (tiny whitening on back) non holographic, from legend maker set.Also have a bunch more unlimited base set cards in okay condition and a few other holographics in mint condition from other sets. They worth anything?
Ok. The new is worth maybe 2 bucks, the unlimited are worth next to nothing, but bro that gold star deoxys might be worth thousands.

I'm pretty sure the BREAK cards are a throwback to the original Topsun Pokemon cards with that shatter holo and makes me dislike them less. Even made those japanese only promos 20 years later in English. It seems like a full throwback.

Evolutions booster boxes won't be reprinted. If they did it would be the oldest set they've ever reprinted. What you're seeing now with the Kanto Power Collection is them just finding a way to dump the extra packs they had left over.

You have a better chance off being able to buy a bae set unlimited pack at 3.99$u.s. than you have at getting perfect centering on XY Evolutions .
Its things like this that makes collecting pokemon cards the toxic environment that it is today... People using it as a means to gain views, to invest and trying to make a quick buck from something that most people call a hobby.
