J’ai commencé l’orgue il y a un an, après avoir regardé vos vidéos pendant un an. Sans vos vidéos je n’aurais probablement jamais eu l’idée de me procurer un hauptwerk et de jouer dans une église. 2 and plus tard, je joue chez moi sur mon hauptwerk et dans deux églises. Mon impression est que l’adaptation pour passer d’un hauptwerk à un vrai orgue, ou pour passer d’un orgue à l’autre n’est pas très différent. A chaque fois j’étais déboussolé pendant 30-60 min le temps de retrouver mes repaires et de m’habituer aux claviers mais c’est à peu près toujours la même chose. Heureusement je ne joue pas à flight simulator, car après l’expérience hauptwerk il y a un risque pour que je me laisse aller à faire décoller un vrai avion en cas d’absence momentanée du pilote
Thank you Xavier! Question for you about your production methods - do you record directly from the output of the software? We are not hearing the recording of the speakers in your space, correct? We are getting the direct output from the Hauptwerks, correct? The sound is wonderful - it really has the resonance that you would expect to hear in the space where the organ is located -- Thank you for sharing this music - it must not be lost.
Thank you for your comment. Indeed I use the Hauptwerk build-in recorder to capture the sound but then I export the WAV file to another computer and process it with 2 VST plugins : a Lexicon reverb and a mastering software called Izotope Ozone for EQ, etc. Then the processed file is synced back with the video in Premiere Pro. It's quite a time consuming process but I am a good sound maniac ;-)
