You know this is a cover of an actual 90s-early 2000s song. Original track is by N.O.R.E. feat. Pharell, produced by the Neptunes , released in 2002.
FYI to the non-hiphop fans out there.
Sadly, there are 5 hidden videos, so im not sure what else you reacted to, but after watching the full playlist, you only heard 3 of their 10 actual songs. Those being shooting star, left right, and hes/x‐gene. Even if you dont want to react to them, i highly suggest checking them out.
They also have chorgraphy/dance practice and live performance videos for almost every release, so you can see more of the performance aspect you love.
All that aside, great reaction, its always fun to see non-mega fans' reactions because you dont see them too often.
hilarious you guys clipped about the shoe closet and nothing about the amazing moves they did on their short. The part where Nathan getting picked on not noticing the embedded subtitles is priceless.

Yes 🙌🏽 COCONA & JURIN served a TRIBUTE to OG Hip Hop Artists. The short you watched is to a dance challenge for a popular Filipino Artist named SCUSTA CLEE. He is a real Hip Hop Rapper from the Philippines 🇵🇭…he’s been around longer than EZ MIL. You should react to some of their music 🎼. Thank you both for reacting to XG. 💁🏻♀️🤍🎶🐺

Just in case this wasn't covered already, XG is made up of 4 rappers (Jurin, Harvey, Maya, Cocona) and 3 singers (Chisa, Hinata, Juria). XG Tapes is for the rappers, XG Vox is for the singers, and XG Move is for their solo dance routines. Also, like we said about paying tribute, every XG Tape has them rapping over classic american hip-hop beats, this one in particular is "Nothin" by N.O.R.E. (released in 2002). XG Vox features them covering songs of global artists that have influenced them. 🐺👽
