Great tools advice and hints for making sense, in common language, of the DNA reports and CM values.

The genealogy companies should all do DNA packages of multiple kits. For women sell a kit for them with autosomal DNA and a kit for a male relative with deep Y. Also as a package add full deep Y for an affordable price. People would be willing to add an extra $100 not an extra $500.

Due to endogamy, I have to difficult wall to get through.
My wife was adopted at birth by her wonderful parents. They were always open about her adoption.
Her biological family has been fluid. The paternal grandfather was apparently 100% Ashkenazi Jewish. It also appears he changed his name before marrying my wife paternal grandmother (who died in an accident when their children were 10 & 12). The children were raised by their deceased mothers mother.
No one seems to know anything documentable before ~1947. We have antidotal evidence for a birth date and place, but discovering an Ashkenazi Jewish boy, born in Brooklyn NY about 1908 is anything but simple.
Will your AI research help discover out cousins who have triangulated DNA segments?
I can see multiple family members on the other side of the wall, but running all of the possible links, and connecting them to a third person is daunting.
Thanks for the great work MyHeritage continues to do!

This was great! Thank you. So, low %s. My brick wall is my maternal grandmother. We know nothing about her. My DNA test revealed unexpected ethnicity, plus DNA matches to a new family! The cM Explainer tool says these new matches at my parent’s first cousin (with 92% probability), with the MCA = my great-grandparents - maybe the new people. BUT, the new family tree matches say they only had 1 child, no sibling. The possible great-grandfather was a womanizer, slept around (late 1890s, NY). And a half relationship has a probability of 2.3%. But that looks like the possible path to this family for me. Its such a low %, how good is this tool with low %s?
