Marc you are an expert camper! You always find the best sites! Gypsy is in her environment! I noticed she really checked out the area while you were setting the camp up lol. She is the most adorable fur baby! You do have a really nice singing voice! Would not mind you singing the entire song!

I don't feel like an expert at anything! lol.
I think that the singing will be kept at a minimum. I don't want to torture the other viewers.. :D

@@camplapidary nope you are a very seasoned, expert camper, even if you forget the coffee lol. As for your singing it is far better than some that get recording contracts today! No torture there!

Sounds good to mix green sauce and sour cream for a salad dressing! Maybe it would even be good enough to market? Gypsy is so patient while waiting for her bites!

If I remember correctly, I just used the green sauce. I really should have tried adding the sour cream, I bet it would have been fine and dandy! :D

Nice video…I love the time lapse footage…it looks pretty barren there!

      Thanks, Sue!
The ground here is pretty tore up from decades of digging. This site was once a mineral claim, and they used heavy equipment to get these big pits. Nowadays it's all open to the public (no claims allowed) but the state or county sends equipment in occasionally to freshen up the pits.
Once you get away from this digging area the desert looks pretty normal. Though some might still consider it to be barren.

Veteran move, observing the ground and where you put your camp. Made that mistake when I was like 19 backpacking the wind River range. Put my tent down in this nice little flat spot between rocks and it rained hard that night and it turned into a lake so I had to move in the middle of the night in a rainstorm.... Total rookie mistake. Never again.
Question - how come you waited so long to produce this series of videos from 2021? Wish I had material like that in the can while I have to work all summer and into the fall here.

One more good thing about cargo trailer camping vs tent camping is that you don't have to worry so much about a small river through camp, being off the ground an all. lol.
I have at least 1 full year of backup video material sitting on hard drives here. Maybe more.
If I don't put out the videos on a regular basis and quickly, I get backed up. I can spend a month, filming and then editing the individual videos from a 4 day trip.
Someday when I'm really old, when I can no longer go out like this. I want to be able to pull from this video library and continue to make new videos. And since I keep all the footage I record (within reason), I could re-edit some old series to give them new life as well.
      Thanks for watching, Kenny! :D
