This is actually making me think of studying this subject at Biola which in secular western universities is nowadays nothing more than a branch of liberal political ideology. We need the subject to get back to facts and understanding things empirically.
Dr. Grace: I’d love to know the answer to the study! What’s the correlation? Is it attachment, something to do with being nurtured as a baby and having close relationship with mother? Just a guess.
Wundt- structuralism (the individual structures create the whole mind,) James- functionalism (overtook struct, asked why,") and Watson- behaviorism (structure and fx aren't important. Watch their behavior.) Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behavior. During a "culture of discovery" and Christians stepped out of the picture.
Hey dude, I like your personality and interactive nature of your class, but these classes are waaaayyy too interactive. These need more theoretical materials.
Not only do nurses take psych classes, but I call bullshit on the prescription story. The reason the pharmacy won't accept a faxed script for a narcotic is that the laws have changed so that only a signed original prescription from the doctor is valid for dispensing narcotics. So, not only is your story about being asked the generic "are you a doctor" question malarkey (they will ask if you are the specific doctor who wrote the script), but even IF the pharmacy had called the actual doctor who prescribed narcotics to you, they would have required a physical original signed script for narcotics. A call to the doc would not have circumvented the law for this, and somehow rendered the faxed script valid. While I'm annoyed by how much you tease and seem to enjoy the suspense you create by NOT giving answers without first generating all sorts of questions, I'll watch the rest of the video. I'm an RN with Asperger's, so please forgive my directness. But you're full of shit, mister. But I respect your education and I'll see what your answers are at the end of the video, I hope.
This guy is so fun to watch. He makes psychology extra entertaining to learn/watch. I've been laughing a concerning amount XDD
Im taking intro to psych online, so watching a lecture like I am actually there helps a lot
im going to HBU i hope that they have somebody like this guy wow
This is not the history of psychology. The history starts after 25 min of really great intro. But it's still a great video.
3:21 the oatmeal risk was for the flavored processed oatmeal. Not oats cooked in a pan for 10 minutes. Just sayin'
wheres the explanation to the facts given at the start?
List one vs. List two: These productions were made for different generations that harbored different generational ideals and societal expectations.

Better luck next time, doc. I'm not impressed. Study Nietzsche. You're welcome.
