    Use your zigzag as your secondary line as you climb. The point of double lanyard is that 2 systems need to fail for you to fall, in this instance one one has to fail and the double wrap around is pointless. Might make you feel more comfortable climbing too.

Also, I agree totally about investing in people because it pays big dividends just make sure you see good character in someone before you invest in him. “Don’t cast your pearls before the swine” meaning don’t invest in people that aren’t good people otherwise you’ll get taken advantage of and will get no return on your investment. 🤙

    Any carabiner used for life support must be auto-locking, have at least three consecutive, deliberate actions to prepare the gate for opening per ANSI Z133. They must have a minimum tensile strength of 5,000 pounds (22.24kN). Ones made from aluminum would be a good choice for life support

    Guys I'm an ISA certified arborist and for the health of the trees I have to at least comment this is not the industry standard way to trim/prune trees. If you're not removing the tree you DO NOT spike up them. This causes wounds in the tree that can vector in pests, diseases and fungal infections. Especially palms which lack a secondary meristem and thus cannot CODIT (compartmentalization of decay in trees pioneered by Alex Shigo, considered the Einstein/tesla/Edison in the arboricultural world) those wounds. The canopy should be accessed via throwline and rope, using either srs/mrs (single rope system or moving rope system)

    • @mr.benitezhimself
      @mr.benitezhimself  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I understand what you’re saying and respect it. Im in Las Vegas. Where certified arborist are spiking up palms in commercial & residential properties decades before I was even born. Yet they are thriving
      Also; when a company is doing 20+ palms a day, i haven’t met a company that throws a line, sets up srt, for every single one.
      1.) nobody has time for that
      2.) clients don’t want to pay for srt
      2.) clients “don’t care” after you explain to them the dangers of spiking a palm and over pruning a palm.
      Again, I’m in Vegas. And that’s how it’s done around here.
      Of course there are company’s with booms, but not everyone can or want to pay for the lift service.
      Thanks for watching 🌴
