So I purchased a new amp board from California-parts pro $175.00 (part # 4LO035223D) & also a kit for welding soldering for $23.00.
Prior to this I call audi to see how much will they charge to have my amp program. So audi dealer said the programing wills start at $200 minimal.
So I decide to give it a try my self.
I followed your easy steps or transferring the chips and solder the old chip to new amp and WORKED AS A CHARM.
Because of this info I was able to save top dollar. Thank you so much.

Correction: It Actually works to anyone out there, I took it to a shop to get the chips replaced, at first it wasn't working but that was because of a fuse missing.
So I just purchased a 2009 Audi Q7 with a bad amplifier; the usual water damage from it leaking. Would replacing the chips like he demonstrated still work considering the damage to the amp? Right now I just have a fiber optic loop to bypass the amplifier. Thanks for your help in advance!

Hey, so I also purchased a Q7 with water Damaged amp, bought that little bypass fiberoptic to verify, turned out the amp and the navigation DVD reader was also bad, found a person parting out a q7 on Facebook, got the amp and the navigation reader, installed and took to stealership to get it coded, they charged me $150 and said the amp was bad, anyways i ended up finding out the fuse for amp in the rear was missing, but I watched this video and took my amp to a local electronics shop, showed it to them , they charged me $60 to swap the chips, and now my screen sound works AWESOME. No need to code it. So yes this is cheaper then the dealership

I got the same issue whhit mm1 2 high amp.THe DAC on one side dead and on test mode got random crack on right chanel the new used amp the diag ask trigger the thieft sistem and only driver side sound.
