We stayed at Anantara Uluwatu 3 weeks ago, it was an awesome place with great staff and the best views of Bali.

Another magnificent paradise. What I like most about this resort is the contemporist architecture of the entire place. It indeed reflects the modern Miami Beaches. Wonderful place indeed.
Anantara looks a nice place. I liked it's proximity to the sea + the pretty spa .

Thank you for your kind comment. I do realize that I am very lucky. That said, Anantara Uluwatu is a one of the most affordable luxury resorts in Bali (rooms often as 'low' as 250 usd per night).

Yet another fabulous tour 👍 The name almost had me fooled; for a fleeting moment, I presumed that it was yet another Aman resort in Bali. Looks pretty good, but I'm still sold on FS @ Sayan & Jimbaran Bay, Mandapa and Amankila! Btw, I'd love to see your take on the Ritz in Nusa Dua!

Thank you for showing into depth. It is far too modern for my liking. But that's just me. I prefer more typical (national, folkloric) and more natural architecture, inside and outside. This does not mean, less luxurious.

Great videos!!! I’m planning my honeymoon in Bali for October and trying to find two destinations to split my time. This was one of them...very helpful!!! I’m thinking of uluwatu and ubud with day trips/excursions to seminyak and nusa penida. If you have any recommendations that would be wonderful!!

Hey there! Maybe you will still get this, but are there places to explore within walking distance outside of the resort? Or is everything an extra excursion that comes with a hefty price tag? We love to walk around new places on our own, mixing relaxation and exploring. Thank you!

to be honest i dont like exterior and interior design of these hotel , i like more into more locally Balinese style like Amankila, Amanjiwo. Anantara its beautiful but not my style.

Nice hotel. But not enough Balinese feel. And too many steps for older people or people with walking challenges. Easy to fall down.
I agree with you, Raymond. I can do stairs if there is a railing (I have a bad back, but my legs work ok--lol). This resort seems more family-oriented, as are the rates. As Dr LTE mentioned, the hotel has more of a Miami Beach vibe than an Bali vibe. Gorgeous ocean views, though.
Heinecke might have renounced US citizenship, but definitely not its esthetics.

Cheers! As far as this part of the world, I’d highly recommend the Fasano in São Paulo and Rio. Belmond Iguazú falls was lovely. Four seasons Buenos Aires was okay. Do be careful in Buenos Aires, my dad was unfortunately robbed in broad daylight on a busy street there. No cartier watches when walking around haha.

Thank you for sharing. After viewing, my thoughts are ... meh. Nothing special about it at all. I’d be by disappointed. No Balinese architecture nor flavor to the resort. Too many other luxury properties in Bali that supersede this property.

Aren't the monkeys a nuisance? I remember encountering them in Malaysia, and they were very aggressive and would come right up and try to steal your food.
