I noticed that Paula Deans cooked with a large amount of carbs and sugar because I am a Diabetic. I just replaced the sugar a with sugar substitute. But you added butter to that list and butter is very low on carbs and has nothing to do with raising blood sugar.

So lets talk about this "tip skimming" topic that keeps coming up..... I worked in the food industry, off and on, for well over 40 years.... Everything from small independent restaurants to exclusive clubs and golf courses. Almost all of them had a tip sharing rule at one time or another. It was they way things were done and all of the wait staff were aware of it before we ever took the jobs. After all, people like buss staff and dishwashers, as well as the regular kitchen line staff weren't paid any more than the waiters and had no way of making tips directly. At the same time, chances were good that my ability to make a decent tip was directly linked to how well they did their jobs. I had no problem with "tipping" the behind the scenes staff as long as they did their jobs just like I had no problem with customers that didn't tip servers that were sub par.
When I was serving food or cocktails, I always tipped out my crew and/or bar. Likewise, as a bartender at a strip club, the dancers would always tip me out at the end of their shifts. Never understood the "racist" complaint against Ree Drummand about her Asian wings snack. Is this hyper wokism on steroids about cultural appropriation? I watched this episode when it originally aired. Ree was well known for her love of Asian-style dishes and flavors. As I recall, this was an episode about Ree making some game time snacks for her husband and some old college friends who were getting together to watch some football on TV. She was playing a joke on her husband by making a batch of wings with a sauce that was inspired by Asian flavors. I never take celebrity apologies as sincere. They should all just say, "I'm sorry I got caught, and I'm sorry that what I did damaged my career and possible sales."
I don’t know who gave these entitled people to think Paula was required to disclose private medical information. That is her business no one else’s. It’s not like a std for fuk sake. Many chefs cook unhealthy food and they don’t get dumped on for it. Literally people just wanted a reason to attack Paula. No one is entitled to know your medical situation literally you can get fines if you ask someone claiming a disability what that disability is. Society has lost the plot for sure. Sick of the insanity.
Interesting how so many are commenting this..while it is 100% true that her medical condition is nobodys business but her own, her racism, which everyone seems to blatantly ignore 🤔🙄 was the real culprit in her demise...and there was no mention whatsoever of what made me start to avoid her prior to the racism scandal..she seemed to have flipped and became outrageously obnoxious, wild laughter for no reason, screeching and talking over and manhandling and attempts to kiss all her male guests, on air no less! It was terribly disturbing!

Food Network USED to be a cherished channel when it was in its infancy. It was where you could eat with your eyes then learn how to make it at home. But it became so commercialized and they added a bunch of "game shows" and it basically died right in front of us.
I live in Memphis. There were 2 restaurants that Pat and Gina owned/ran. One not far from my house and one 2 blocks from my office. I ate at the one near my office very frequently. The food was always great as well as the service being excellent. It was also a great value for the portions you go. I saw Gina in the restaurant working nearly every time I went in- Pat not so often. I hate that they closed both locations. Good thing that there is no shortage of great BBQ places in Memphis!
I lost respect for Bobby Flay from his first cheating scandal with one of his sous chefs this was waaay before him and Giada happened. I'm surprised that wasn't mentioned. I thought Paula was cut because of the racial slur only but the wedding info first time I'm hearing about that 🤔. I can say across the board the most disappointing thing in some of the chefs the stealing from their employees
They tried to excuse Paula's behavior by saying she is 60 and there was still segregation in the "deep South". Segregation still existed EVERYWHERE in the country and most people adapted with the change in the law. I'm going to be 70 and I learned. She shows her inability to change and improve as a person when she can't acknowledge the change in the law.
I have heard of most of these people because I use to watch the food network channel. I have to admit I was surprised what some of these people did because I didn’t see them anymore on their show. Now I know…
Obviously, drunk driving is wrong. But, using footage from a fatal DUI incident in which Cat Cora was not involved is inappropriate. The guy in that accident tried to run away, but a bystander tackled him.
I’ve worked at a small restaurant/bar as a cook/prep cook for 2 years and they took like $2-3 bucks out of your check everyday for a meal no matter if you ate one or not that day….and over half the time I was there I didn’t eat cause I was too busy to
The first scandal was back in the 1990s and early 2000s, when they canceled shows and released all of the older people who had made the Food Network so popular. Then they turned it into a flashy zoo of fast videography, non-stop competitions, reality TV gimmicks and complete saturation of the channel with their latest personality du jour, such as Emeril Lagasse, then Rachel Ray and currently, Guy Fieri. Nobody can just cook anymore in demur surroundings. Instead of that circus, I watch the Saturday afternoon lineup on public television, with "America's Test Kitchen" and other cooking shows.
I remember the food network when it first came out and actually taught you something when I was 11 it was starting out and when my mom got sick and I learned how to cook from food network..but over the years it got crappy and narcissistic and stupid and you didn't learn anything anymore i haven't watched them in over a decade but I did end up growing up into a pretty decent cook.. I've been cooking for 30+ years now and my friends and family love my cooking apparently..my mom got better but she wasn't a good cook haha..so food network ..used to be helpful when it started out in 1996..but that one about Ina garten doesn't surprise me she seems like a snot ball .and I never liked Robert irvine too much....but I like Gordon Ramsay alot better than Irvine.....but food network is a joke now..and not even a funny one ..😢but it seriously was good once..just like the history channel used to be good and taught you something..and I live in the south and am a anglo native American gal and i could not stand paula she seemed so phoney my grandma was the woman everyone thought paula was she'd never mistreat anyone or use that awful word..but she couldn't cook anymore when I was young but she did give me her recipes along with food network cooking lessons lol..but I can't stand food network now its gone down the crapper which is sad
Other than Emeril back in the day and Triple D, The Food network has always been a hard pass for me. It's loaded with a bunch of phony baloneys and pretentious plump people.
The Ina Garten one is so stupid. The Enzo kid and his family are too entitled. Ina had the right to decline. I don't know about anyone else, but I'd never want to meet a celebrity for anything, not as a kid and not as an adult now.
Sometimes women can be male chauvinists. My 3rd grade teacher for 2 months was VERY discriminatory against us girls. And because I was chubby she really didn't like me.
Gaslighting Ina Garten, because her publicity team did not schedule a time for a sick child to meet her is disingenuous to Ina. Spreading this slur about Ina, to get more likes is just pathetic
The food network was fine until it became the phony competition network and instant karma gave it what it deserved. I haven’t watched that network in 15 years.
The only show I still like is DD&D, which is about GOOD FOOD. I miss the real cooking shows they used to show, now it's all competitions. Imo the racist comments, the SH/SA cases and Rachael Ray's dog food are the most troubling. I'm on the fence about Ina's situation but I always thought she was a bit snobby, so it wasn't a shock.
The fact that certain words have to be censored f just another indication of how google has emasculated content creators. Not criticizing this channel, as this happens across the youtube world

Wouldn't be the only one who thought that, but apparently not. She's married to a guy. She sure presents herself in a manner that suggests it.
Paula Dean: How am I on here twice?!!!
I can imagine hearing Paula Deen hollering “I’m old south!!! I’m old south!!!” Like Eastbound and Down
Who cares about anyone having an affair? Also, we didn't need to know about people's medical history. That's none of our business.
As for Graham Elliot; The customers don't come to a restaurant solely for the wait staff. Pay FOH minimum wage plus tips or pay everyone a living wage.
I never take celebrity apologies as sincere. They should all just say, "I'm sorry I got caught, and I'm sorry that what I did damaged my career and possible sales."
I have not watched the food network for years.
@@cynthia1795 was not referring to the N word incident I was only speaking on her medical records. You completely twisted what I said to fit your agenda when it had nothing to do with race at all. My comment was ONLY referencing the MEDICAL RECORDS. Point blank period!!! Nothing more than that.
I have experience as a disabled kid with the make a wish foundation the boy is not at fault but neither is Ina
Presenter on this video: You wouldn’t expect her to do lines of coke in her kitchen.
Me: Have you heard how she pronounces microwave? And y’all think she’s sober?
Some of these are just plain nit picking and should not have led to show cancellations!
Paula said that n word like hulk hogan with saying brother. Wtf
My six dogs LOVE Nutrish. They've been eating Nutrish for eight years. They are all alive and healthy.
“despite being white herself” regarding Dean was a comment that made no sense 😮
Exactly 😂
Everyone commenting on the pronunciations of certain names, please keep in mind this is AI narration, not a person.
I have heard of most of these people because I use to watch the food network channel. I have to admit I was surprised what some of these people did because I didn’t see them anymore on their show. Now I know…
whàt¿¿¿
"Rachel Ray's Weird Dog Food". I feel this could be the name of almost any of her recipes.
Sandra Lee was not a cook. She opened cans and packages mostly. Doesn't take mad skills to make boxed mac n cheese or Jiffy cornbread.
That’s what a cook is. A chef is different
Really? You can't say "sexual?" Will that demonetize you?
Yes most likely they would it’s ridiculous but kids are still on the adult app for some dumb reason and ruining it
Will always love Guy Fieri.
This is really not news. This kind of stuff happens in companies all over this country. But when you are in the public eye it really gets blown up.
White framed glasses???? Cmon😂😂😂😂😂
So much of this is just nonsense and not worth talking about.
I agree.
The guy with frosted tips is afraid of gay people?
I remember the food network when it first came out and actually taught you something when I was 11 it was starting out and when my mom got sick and I learned how to cook from food network..but over the years it got crappy and narcissistic and stupid and you didn't learn anything anymore i haven't watched them in over a decade but I did end up growing up into a pretty decent cook.. I've been cooking for 30+ years now and my friends and family love my cooking apparently..my mom got better but she wasn't a good cook haha..so food network ..used to be helpful when it started out in 1996..but that one about Ina garten doesn't surprise me she seems like a snot ball .and I never liked Robert irvine too much....but I like Gordon Ramsay alot better than Irvine.....but food network is a joke now..and not even a funny one ..😢but it seriously was good once..just like the history channel used to be good and taught you something..and I live in the south and am a anglo native American gal and i could not stand paula she seemed so phoney my grandma was the woman everyone thought paula was she'd never mistreat anyone or use that awful word..but she couldn't cook anymore when I was young but she did give me her recipes along with food network cooking lessons lol..but I can't stand food network now its gone down the crapper which is sad
making celebrities out of cooks is a joke anyway.
That's why Ann Burrell is off and her brother is on EVERY show...🙄😒
Wow. I stopped watching the food network years ago because of boredom. But now, I realize that the spiciness was cookin behind the scenes! Lol
The Jamie Oliver one is a bit of a reach for me.
Ina garten is from Long Island, the Hamptons notoriously snobbish……. they don’t have time for regular people. Guy is over rated and washed up…..
Yes I was going to comment this. I always got that feeling from her. You can hear it in how she talks.
Yep I always got that feeling from watching her. You can even hear it in how she talks. Uppity. 🙁
@@jasonmims5057she sounds rich! And I always thought maybe her husband was gay or either very feminine!
love how true things are bleeped out so no one is offended
Thank you, but because U tube is part of the Elite, it's like saying the Jab because we can't say the truth without being cancelled
Some people are good at making money just not good at being celebrities.
Lol "authentic Kwanzaa" 😂😂😂😂
you didn't bring up flay's super big scandal where he offended morimoto on iron chef. also, sandra lee is an icon. she's a meme is human form
I didn't believe then and I don't now that Ina believed for one second that a 6 year-old boy was a fan.
Then you butcher Geoffry Zacharian's name, too. You lost ALL credibility in my eyes.
Other than Emeril back in the day and Triple D, The Food network has always been a hard pass for me. It's loaded with a bunch of phony baloneys and pretentious plump people.
Food Network is a huge waste. Never understood what people saw in it.
its just fun to watch.
Truth!!
I've learned a lot of sound cooking advice from them.
You can literally cook with whatever spice u want and make dishes. Like really?
Bobby Flay is still doing fine so I doubt if this ridiculous video with all of this trash digging is going to affect anyone! 😂😂
What! They are humans!?!?😮
The problems with tips have a lot to do with the crazy system in the US for paying waiters
Can’t believe you can’t say “sexual assault” in the story about Mario (Italian chef). The creator needs to get over themselves, we’re all adults…
Guy F. doesnt like gay dudes? Where does he find straight waiters for his restaurant?!
I thought his sister was gay?🤔
The Ina Garten one is so stupid. The Enzo kid and his family are too entitled. Ina had the right to decline. I don't know about anyone else, but I'd never want to meet a celebrity for anything, not as a kid and not as an adult now.
Is there one with integrity? I’ll wait…
I know a lot of chefs. They are a narcissistic lot for some reason.
Are u crazy. She is the one who didn't want to see the kid. Not her publicity team. She is a piece of shit
Why is Paula on the list twice? the diabetes thing could have been added to the first one.
The fact that certain words have to be censored f just another indication of how google has emasculated content creators. Not criticizing this channel, as this happens across the youtube world
