Funny you mentioned 3D Perfomances. Hololive has 2 BIG Perfomances coming up soon! A Free End-of-the-Year Concert on Dec.31 JST that matches the countdown which features HololiveJP, EN and ID. Another HUGE performance coming up on March which features the ENTIRETY of Hololive (This is a yearly event! 6th year actually) It will be 4Concerts, within 2Days. Although it would be Pay-per-View, they usually post the first 3Songs for Free on their TH-cam Channel.
Quick correction on this for the March concerts, it is not Pay-Per-View. If you purchase the stream ticket you can watch it as many times as you want for approximately a month after the event.
Bae and Laplus are considered one of the best dancers in Hololive along with Hajime (and I feel like there was one more person…but I can’t remember) Edit: the other talent I was thinking of was Kiara. She is also one of the top dancers.
Shion is great! One of the earlier Hololive members from the 2nd generation, and one of the only members who was actually hired as a minor before the company become more official and had more restrictions. In fact all 4 of them are Likely the youngest in the company, under 23 or so. Would highly recommend checking out some of the live concerts, the vast majority are streamed for free on TH-cam and actively encourage reactions. Typically for events such as anniversaries or holidays usually around an hour in length. While the Pay-per-view concerts are more likely to be the big in person events at actual venues or cons, though even then they’ll usually upload the first half hour of those shows online for free to encourage ticket sales
Hololive has heavily invested in their 3D tracking that Holo talents have mentioned time and time again which is really noticeable if you've followed them for years. It's really great to see an agency use the money from the fans to invest on improving equipment to make the talents 3D performance even better. The most noticeable one for me was during Holo EN's Breaking Dimension concert just this year where you can actually see Bae's subtle moves as well has her pop & lock moves being properly tracked during her solo dance which caught me by surprise since I've never seen a tracking 3D doing that live. Tracking equipment is probably very expensive but it brings out the talents skills in performing and it looks good on the screen as well.
Agreed. For me, the advancement of technology really hit the next level with ReGLOSS's concert. Now, even stuff like Calli's EN Christmas party has reached new heights.
YES! Please check out more of the live performances! Bae just KILLS it performing Gekirin during the Breaking Dimensions concert. Advent performed Rebellion at Breaking Dimensions and it's my favorite version of that song. Whoever thought of Mococo just hyping everyone up constantly was a genius. The energy was nuts. Also, if you are looking at live performances, Haachama and Laplus are awesome together performing Gouhou Teki Tobi Kata no Susume at one of Haachama's 3D lives. In the same concert, Polka comes and and does Perfect Human with Haachama and give it her all. I love it.
For live performances theres 3D lives which are mainly prerecorded stuff streamed at a certain time with no live audience, and then theres the live concerts which you can pay for a streaming ticket for the full concert but without the ticket you still get a preview of usually 3 songs for free. This group was also full of some of the fan chosen best dancers in hololive being Bae, La+, and Kobo. Another amazing dancer is todoroki hajime (also known as bancho), she has a live performance from her 3D debut on her channel covering the song Bandage. Breaking Dimensions was the most recent EN concert which had 2 different days (both have seperate streams) with 3 performances each and then an MC section afterwards full of goofy moments for the free portion. There are also single member live concerts known as Sololives. We recently had Marine, Suisei, and Miko have one and then Fubuki and Calli both have one coming in the new year.
You should find the KDA: Baddest from Calli, Moona, Risu, and Reine. It was made well before Kobo, Baelz, Laplus, and Shion did both of the main KDA songs.
One more suggestion. I can never, ever get enough of Gura and Marine singing Ride on Time live at Marine's third anniversary concert. I just love them together. It's such a great performance of that song.
For a new song to react to, Mumei just released the music video for her and Fauna's new original titled _It's Not a Phase._ It's a great laugh. 6:50 For a great live performance that's free, Hololive does a New Years show every year. I think their rules are that you can react, as long as you don't stream the audio if you're reacting as it comes out, but if you watch it after the fact, you can include the audio. On that note, for the last two years, they have also done a "Holo Shuffle Medley," where various members sing a bit of other members' original songs, while wearing their outfits. It's good for both a laugh, and to hear songs that you might have missed otherwise. It also gives the fans a chance to point out little details that might be missed.
you should really react to Hakos Baelz - GEKIRIN [Live Concert], it is a clip from hololive en second concert Bae's performence was from a free part so it is safe to react
You more or less got their names right. La+ Darknesss ("la plus" and yes, Darknesss has 3 s's) is the short one with giant horns. She's from hololive JP's 6th Gen, holox. Murasaki Shion ("She-on") is the purple witch from hololive JP's 2nd generation. All the girls in this performance are known to some extent as kusogakis, basically japanese for brats.
Off the top of my head for seasonal/Christnas songs: -12 Days of Christmas by Hololive English -Christmas Medley 2023 by Hololive English Promise -Merry Holy Date by Hololive Idol Project -Snow Halation by Amelia, Gura, IRyS and Kiara -Suki Yuki Maji Magic by Calli, Mumei and Fauna -Holy Night by Kiara and Bae -Pitari Shitai Xmas by Kiara, Watame and Kobo -Nobody's Christmas by Choco -Deck the Halls by Amelia -Let it Snow by Elizabeth -The Christmas Song by Elizabeth -Rockin around the Christmas Tree by Elizabeth And there are probably a few others that could qualify im forgetting.
if you want to react to lives you could start with the end of the year ones, there many of the talents sing and they have a special section where some girls dress up like other girls and sing their songs xD
Hi, I'm the someone in the comments, lol. Glad you enjoyed my suggestion, their Riot Games performances were fantastic. LaPlus and Bae are both great dancers and regularly upload shorts of themselves dancing. They wear motion tracking suits. Haven't heard them say anything about them being weighty, although LaPlus has had an incident with the shoes being slippery and busted her ass while running on stage lol. For more live performances, Hololive's New Years Eve Countdowns are a good starting point as they are always great, especially last years show with Bae, Watame, and Mori rocking out together.
Soo all the performances with a stage, like this one, are called "3D lives" even if they're pre-recorded, cos they're in the same format as an IRL artiste performing live in front of audience. Things like birthdays, anniversaries etc tend to be around an hour each and they're completely free to watch on youtube, same as when they debut their 3D models. Usually in between the singing there'll be interactions with guests and games. Sometimes you get a special event, like how some of the EN girls did a musical recently called Broken Promise (it's the usual existing songs worked in with a storyline though, not a unique script with new songs). Then there's the paid ones, like sololives and huge events like Holo Fes. They typically put up a portion of the front part for free on youtube, maybe around 3- songs' worth. You can watch this any time. The full performance, though, is ticketed streaming and limited time. Once the period is over, it'll no longer be available.
In Japan "Live" in the context of a performance just sort of means "Show", not actually "Live" like in English. It's a bit confusing, but basically they borrowed the word and changed it's context slightly. Japan actually has quite a few words they've borrowed from various languages and use in a new context!
If you wanna do a full 3D concert you should keep your eyes peeled for the Countdown Live on new years, the last ones have been absolutely great and they're completely free. Also there will propably be another shuffle medley right at midnight jst.
For a La+ song, I would recommend "Dark Breath," it unfortunately doesn't have a music video, but she did perform it once in a 3D live, so you can watch that version.
A lot of them will do live performances for their birthday or debut anniversary. They usually last an hour and they are youtube. The irl live concerts are behind a pay wall, but you may find some free previews. All them have unique takes and themes on their concerts so you will probably not be disappointed in any of them. Although the more recent the performance, the best quality and improvements. I personally like suisei concerts but all of them are good.
So Bagel, since New Year is closing in, you have a very important project: The shuffle. You need to watch Ollie's Medley, then the Hololive Shuffle Medley 2023 and 2024. Why? Because Ollie basically inspired the Shuffles, and there's almost certainly a new shuffle coming up this new year. Plus it gives you a bunch of mini songs to sample for full reactions later. And they're super cute
for live performances that are like free to view, are their 3D debut, or 3D birthday livestreams, mostly like free concert, with shenanigans here and there, but their actual live concert will cost, only exception is like 2 or 3 songs in the beginning, and the rest would be pay to view, just know that most of their live performances can be like an hour or mostly over an hour, just got to say, if you would look for a clip, i would recommend the clip with this text -> [Mori Calliope] CROWN (ft. BOOGEY VOXX) [3D Live] , you might have listened to the song, but have you heard the live version of it? it is amazing, one of my favorite moment of Calli's 3D Showcase. Edit: or you might not have reacted to it or listened to it yet, but live version of it is the one that i come back to very frequently.
Oh, and please, please, please check out Youthful Day's Graffiti with Gura, Laplus, and Shion. It's a really great performance that looks like it required quite a bit of stamina. Lots of energy. You'll notice that Laplus seems to come up a lot. That's because she's one of the best dancers in Hololive and always knocks her performances out of the park. I can't think of a sub-par outing that she's ever had.
I do not know if you play League now, but there are some fun short fan animations with the new English member Gigi asking Mori to play League with her. Seeing various fan animations could be a video if you want to get a dive into some popular short animations with different Hololive ladies.
If you want to see more live performances, I highly recommend Suisei and AZKi - Last Frontier from 5th fes (holofest/expo) all the performances from that event are incredible but I’m bias towards this one^^
they do live performances but often times they sell tickets to them so you wont see them without buying it. but they do have free ones on occasions, or they will usually put up the first half hour or so for free. like the breaking dimensions concert. I would recommend Kobo's 3D Debut, since you like Kobo, and also any of Aki's 3D lives, as she put so much effort into them and deserves to been seen by more people. Other than that, Subaru is also always a good choice. She's got one 3D live with her doing a baton spinning performance!
Their actual LIVE stuff is usually ticketed and can't (shouldn't) be found on TH-cam, but they've go plenty of 3D performances. Guessing you're not going to react to the whole shows so I'll throw out some good ones: Mori, Bae, Watame - Femme Fetale / Dai Zero Kan Mori, Towa, Lui - Bakusou Azki, Roboco, Ina, Moona - Subtitle Kiara, Moona, Reine - Magia Ina, Watson, Gura - End of a Life Myth - The Show Goes On Advent - Rebellion (at Breaking Dimensions) Promise - Go Kronii, Mumei Fauna - Doki Doki Morning Watame, Towa - Habit Marine, Kobo - III Mori Calliope - Gira Gira / Miss You / Cult Following / Donmai Hakos Baelz - Bling Bang Bang Born / Gekirin / RxRxR / Play Dice Todoroki Hajime - Bandage For Holliday Recommendation: 12 Days of Tempus
Do you consider requests from comments, or is there another way to request reactions? I'm very intrigued to see someone react to the MV for Neuro-sama's birthday song, "LIFE".
There are some holiday covers on Hololive English ch.: 【MV】hololive English -Promise- Christmas Medley 2023 Snow halation - hololive English Cover [Gawr Gura, Watson Amelia, Takanashi Kiara, IRyS] Suki! Yuki! Maji Magic - hololive English Cover [Mori Calliope, Nanashi Mumei, Ceres Fauna] Holy Night - hololive English Cover [Ouro Kronii, Hakos Baelz] The Twelve Days of Christmas - hololive English Cover Also, thank you for the Riot reactions. These four did great jobs performing K/DA songs. For 3D lives, hololive always do a 31 Dec one for new year and huge one yearly event in March. You can always watch New year one on YT for free. Evan the paid concert will always has free part (2~3 songs) in hololive ch.
We got four brats in one performance XD
They should be named Bratstars or something lol
Well, 3 brats, and an australlian rat.

She doesnt know about a majority of hololive. Itll land hollow like it did for Matchu

You should try to watch the hololive shuffle medley of 2022 and 2023.. Especially with the 2024 medley probably coming up at new years :)
You got at least one year wrong. They released the most recent shuffle on January 1st 2024.
She should at least know all the members in the medley before watching it, imho.
@@ScyBlade It's a "rewind" of 2022 and 2023.

Piecing together from what some of the holo mems have said, it is a full body tracking suit that they wear.
Thats confirmed. Calli tweeted a picture of her mocap suited foot before her first sololive.

For holiday recommendations, I would recommend Risu's Snow Halation cover.
I would counter with the ultimate: Oga's Snow Halation cover.
Bae and kronii did an amazing cover of the Christmas song from Toradoa. "So it's Christmas"
you have to check the takanashi kiara 3d mirage is pure gold
Hell yeah, Shion love!

Youthful Days' Graffiti, another concert clip, featuring La+, Gura, and Shion all together.

bancho's dance is good to watch.
I'd love for you to check out Amane Kanata. Her original song Oracle is a banger with a great MV and her live cover of Unravel is legendary.
