I don't recall the brand name. I purchased this from an automotive upholstery supply, made for vinyl. Some auto parts stores also sell similar products. Melds into the vinyl and won't peel off.
SEM Vinyl Coatings are specifically designed for this application and bonds into the surface. I doubt there are satisfactory results from outdoor paints.
if the middle of the letters you stenciled on can be pulled out so easily (like the middle ovals in the B) does that mean the letters themselves can be removed easily? do they adhere more as time goes on?
Adhesion varies from one vinyl surface to the other. The stencil stuck really tight on this one. Where the edit broke away from peeling the stencil it tore and stuck extremely tight. Some adhesive stuck and needed to be washed away with Goo-gone. I wouldn't leave them on any longer than necessary.
Truly excellent work. Motorcycle seats are tough to do and you make it look easy. Your attention to detail is amazing. Thank you for sharing.
Awesome work!! 👏👏👏
Just what I needed to see. Going to have a go at making a new seat cover for my Honda CT110, or "postie" as we call them here in Australia.
Good luck sent from the middle of America.
Very nice. Thank you for sharing.
Your video's are such fun and of interest to watch. You make difficult work look easy.
Thank you for your hard work. I am learning a lot from you and my work has been leveled up because of you.
Bultaco I use to race. It was my first bike when I went to open class Flat track.
Bultaco's were born from competition racing. They don't scrap them. Still running them bullet proof fancy bikes 50 years later.
Great job as usual !!!.
¡¡SPECTACULAR!!
Yes that is cool

Nice work, what kind of spray glue are you using?
American Niagara #150 for bonding foam.
What spray you use?
What is the spray paint you used for the logo? Is it something special for vinyl or can a person use any outdoor spray paint?

Great video what is the tool called you used to poke and cut the slots for the frame tabs?
The tool is called a "regulator" mostly used for adjusting folds in upholstery materials but handy in other applications.
What is the name for that v pliers to make a v shaped neckline?
The tool is actually used for cutting sheet metal in heating and air-conditioning duck work.
