He has served as a member of several prestigious Educational and Governmental committees. He is a Life Fellow of the Electrochemical Society of India. He is on the boards of Management of a few Medical Universities. Dr. Karajagi also served as a member of the State Resource Group (SRG) for the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in the colleges of Karnataka. Dr. Karajagi is a well-known columnist who writes for a popular daily and has completed more than 1500 columns. His books entitled “Karunaalu Baa Blake” (Volumes 1 to 10) are immensely popular and have seen several editions. My beloved father who was greater than life to me (69 years old) left me on July 17th this year.
In my last phone conversation(I didn't know that it would be the last ever conversation we would have at the time) with my dad he said "nan preethi magalu neenu. Ninnantha magalu padeyoke eshto janmada punya maadidde". Thankfully I did reply to him. He has done so much for me, given me immense love, care and affection always. So much more than I can ever imagine or ask for. He has left a huge void in me.
Appa was an ardent listener of your videos.
I am guessing he would have listened to this video and the same thing happened to me now! I can't express the feeling I have when I think he kinda knew he was nearing his end and wanted to say these things before leaving.
I came across this video much after his death. And it is extremely precious to me! Puts me into tears every single time I listen to it.
Nothing can fill his place in my heart. But I am blessed to have exchanged these words in our final conversation. I'll be treasuring it the whole of my life!
