My truck looks awesome and get's many compliments and I always tell them that I got many of the ideas from you. Hi Don, Basically have the identical AT4 that you have. Same color, motor etc. Looking at wanting to make the AT4 logo in the headrest red. Any ideas on what can be done without doing damage to the seat? By the way GREAT CHANNEL! Keep up the great work.
Don, I have a 2019 factory AT4. I plan on leveling it and putting some 20” wheels on it as opposed to the stock 18” wheels I have just like yours. . I’ve heard you have to put new UCA’s on it to level properly. Some kits come with the new UCA’s. I’ve also heard a trail boss can handle a wider tire as opposed to the AT4. I’m wondering if you know for certain what the widest, tallest tire I can use without rubbing?
I would upgrade the UCA’s with any level kit. As for the wheels I consult this forum quite often. It will get into lots of level kits and wheel sizes: www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/251475-2021-at4-stock-wheels-biggest-tire-wout-rubbing/
Thanks Don. When changing out my AT4 wheels and badges, due you prefer the gloss black or matte black look? Or mix matte black wheels with gloss emblems? Thanks
Actually satin - so kind of in between. I live in a climate that requires washing the vehicle weekly to stay reasonably clean. Those black areas seem to loom good in satin without me having to detail them more often, which can be the case with gloss finishes and water spots

Acrylic Leather Paint would be my first thought. Most people don’t usually rest their head against the headrest that often so I think it would hold up
