    The center section of the blower wheel separates from the blades. Hold the shaft of the motor with a wrench and spin the wheel by hand.

    I tend to compare those blades from a blower wheel furnace to the blades of a turbofan aircraft engine. Of course they are not as aerodynamic as a blade of an aircraft engine but it serves its purpose of generating fast air moving. You pointed out missing screws and more likely they caused the imbalance in the past. At a high speed , no matter how tiny is a foreign object, once it gets in the blower, it will rattle. You did a great inspection and found the problem. You have good ethics and professionalism. A new subscriber here. Thanks for your videos. God knows how much our country need people like you ! Cheers from Houston, Texas 🙏🏻

    So I work for a supplyhouse(Idk if I can say the name) and as a counter guy I LOVE Bluon! It gives me a way to see exactly what the techs are looking at so I can have the parts they need ready for them to go. I can't say anything yet about future endeavors, but bluon is the bomb and will definitely be on my phone for a long time! My only gripe is I've been a pro for months and still no blue hat!(sorry bluon, had to lol) but they actually came in very clutch for me just this week. Had an older tech come in the shop working on a very old Goodman(based on S/N our guess was 88!) Anyway another vendor got him a new pressure switch, but because it was an old unit they phased it out to a universal part. We looked all over the interwebs finding all different answers on what the factory settings were, and finally I remembered bluon had a tech line. I gave them a call, told them the unit information, told them the universal part information on W.C. range, and literally within 5 minutes we had the universal set to OEM settings and he was on his way to the job.

  • @HVACRTECH-83
    @HVACRTECH-83 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    The most important thing to add about the Bluon app is that besides the great info on almost every unit in existence you can find on there, the parts ordering feature relies on your local supply houses being hooked up with bluon, in my area in CT, only about a month ago my supply house became part of this, and this features been out a while now. So I would talk to your supply houses to get them on board or you'll be losing out on this powerful feature which is really genius and a huge time saver imho. Good video Zack

      I've been using the app for a while. It's really well thought out. One thing I would love to see eventually is for you guys to more thoroughly organize and label the submittals, install manuals, etc. in the sub menus of the equipment. In my experience most information manuals on the app are unorganized PDF documents with vague titles. Hard to justify using the app to track down product literature when I can get it faster from a google search or get down from the attic and grab the paper manual.

    Don't get me wrong here, but...I must just be unlucky I started searching on the app and 5 times out of 10 so far no parts listed. I will check my notes and see if I can find which models I'm talking about. Pretty sure most were less than 12 years old. BlueOn is great, but they have soooo far to go. I will keep trying, cause it's always easier to text in a part# than trying to read the model and or serial to a dealer and winding up with the wrong part because the sales guys aren't service techs. Hope they pay you good for trying to promote them.
