It's amazing how she did all that without any background chorus to back her up. This song is hard to perform live, let alone all by herself like Kelly did. Fantastic job!

I wish she had this much energy in concert. I've seen her twice and even though her voice never disappoints (like she seriously sounds unbelievable..way better live!) I still wish her stage presence was a little more entertaining. I love this performance. She had a few issues vocally, but damn she looked like she was having fun. Both times I saw her in concert, she pretty much just walked around the stage wearing outfits that looked like she got from the local mall...This performance and the 2005 MTV VMA's performance were her best performances stage presence wise I think. Like she gave them her all.

Starting out she had no vocal issues. Kelly Clarkson is entertaining wherever she is whether she is in concert or doing her talk show,doing tributes to artists like dolly parton Reba mcEntire or Garth Brooks. So what if her outfits aren't fancy enough for you

I don’t regret spending the money to see her because her voice is out of this world live, but idk just a personal preference. This performance is amazing and it woulda been the best concert I’d ever seen if she put this kinda effort in when on tour. Still love her and highly recommend everyone to see her live because I honestly feel like her voice is on par with the greats.
Clarkson is a very common English surname. I suspect that centuries ago her Clarkson ancestor(s) left England & arrived in 1 of the American southern colonies, then later descendants made the common westward migration, with 1 or more arriving in Texas where Kelly would later be born.
This was the time that she can still hit that high note 😭 I think now, she'll never do that again coz her voice is tired but still Superb in a different way.
Her voice is more tired here than it ever has been now. She’s just smarter with her voice now and doesn’t like to hit it since it’s a rock-type note. She can still hit it, she actually hit the same note a few times in her cover of Prince’s “Let’s Go Crazy”, you should go watch it, it’s amazing!
Zachary Robertson yup! During this time they were overworking her. Performing literally EVERYWHERE. Now shes worked so hard on her voice & developing her lower register as well. She can still hit those notes. Love kelly!
Zachary Robertson Very true, because back then it was hard on her voice constantly screaming that note, and that is probably the years after 2006 she barely hit it for a while even in the lower key! But 2012 and 2013 when she brought it back, that’s when it sounded the best. But I do wonder if she’ll ever attempt the note again in the future?
