      mobo model + manuals.lib
      you're looking for the motherboard front panel header, it should be in the manual, and labeled... which, should answer your question..
      or just wing it, a lot of headers are standard/universal, therefore the same....
      but some are not.. so it'll be a dice roll...
      i like that asus just gives you a front panel header bracket, you can just make all your connections outside of the case, then place the female bracket (with all your connections done) onto the front panel header, done and done....

    That we want is a mechanism that work with low voltage 5V or 12 V and apply it ON the power button of the desktop.
    That mechanism must be able to push the power button. We have already a circuit with relay and usb..
    The reason is that we don't want to do anything to computer inside or any hole because we will loose the warranty.

    • @_2hu4u
      @_2hu4u 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      it has to be "momentary" action (which means that the connection is only made when the button is pressed). Most light switches are "latching".

    • @carlossousa7079
      @carlossousa7079 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      you can use rocket switch button or rotating button these two are mostly latching (the rotating button is also momentary). If you use LEDs that consume more, you must use a power connector (molex or the connector that powers the SATAS (PowerSata)) to obtain the extra energy (5v - 7v - 12v). Black is usually on the dsktop the neutral GND. Red is 5V (+ the GND next to RED). Yellow is 12v (+ the GND next to Yellow).
      If the LED is White, Yellow, Red you can connect the + no + and - no - wires on the Motherboard for example on the HD Led and whenever you use the HDD the mounted lights will be on and off, or if the Board only indicates the on status of the HD these are always on, if it is a low voltage LED. the other LEDs like blue, violet, black, ... (attention may need a resistance, so they don't burn) they already consume more, not to mention the strips of leds (minimum goes from 12v to 14v)). A small DRL Ruler Bolb Blue or Ice Blue from aliexpress already consumes 12 to 14v, as an example you can connect the (+) to the switch. o (-) directly to the power connector (molex). From Molex o (+) to the other pin on the switch. When it changes its state from open to closed, the energy passes to the LED strip or to the light bulb Bolb

    I must be NERD but I can't find anything about the video. The video presents a desktop Moding, looking over the Power buttom's custom. It teaches you how to make the hole and how to take care, but says nothing more. For example, buttom with LED ??? volt, Momentary or Lacting (lock). Which pin buttons to connect. how many cables go from button to button varies is certain (3 or 4). But pins connect on buttom were they will be connected on Moterboard (common desktop Momentary button is only 2 cables) but this use 3 - were be connected ???). Sorry, presentation style its not ... . if anyone knows, please share. Grateful
