- Today is a new idea built on a few past ideas. 4 Orc kingdoms will fight over a bunch of small islands with one big island in the middle!
This big island is not only enchanted, but it contains large amounts of gold and ore.
In addition to that, everyone who lives on the island will be given the Immortal trait!

I appreciate that while the 3 nations were at constant, bitter war for thousands of years, the giants just grabbed like 2 islands and spent it all vibing. Sure they died at the end but honestly, they were the real winners
They all had the content trait. They where perfectly happy with the two islands they had
We can all learn something from the Clan of Big
You could say they were the bigger people not engaging in the conflict.

The fact that the giants refused to expand really helped the Kingslayers, it allowed them to focus only on one battlefront

The problem with orcs and the enchanted biom is that fairys are energized and orc will kill them which causes lightning bolts to strike every 10 seconds

I think one of the biggest issues for the Fast Fighters was the logistical issues with fighting a two-front war on a map like this. Because the islands are so small, you can take one pretty easily if you land a few armies on it. The problem is that those armies require ships, and it was very hard for them to coordinate boats to go to both fronts when they were getting destroyed by archers at a pretty high rate.

pretty sure fast fighters also sent most of their warriors to capture other islands leaving the islands they already owned pretty underdefended
It’s like Japan and america in ww2. A lot of japans victories were based on speed and surprise, not power. But power caught up to them
Fast fighters quickly spread out so they could reach the middle first and gain the most islands for population. They were quick but had little to no power. Once they came to an actual fight, they couldn’t kill the warriors quick enough because their trait allowed them to replenish their numbers quickly
Once the slayers showed up and the fighters had no where left to run, well… we saw how it turned out
they were getting attacked on both sides while the other two were unbothered by the giants so they just focused on the fast ones they got screwed over because the giants were lazy
Hey gorg idk if u know this but repopulating only occurs if they have enough houses to repopulate. so the reason why the fast orcs repopulated faster wuz cuz they made houses faster.
What a orcish way of saying was cause
fast only affects movement speed and a little attack speed - don't think it really mattered in this case. Kingslayer and giant were going to be the most impactful, but giants didnt do anything
The kingslayers were so effective, they even managed to maintain a cursed biome island.
Btw, the big island was very barren because most of it was taken up by stone, metal, and gold nodes which prevent building.
Create a ‘STORM’ in the game that slowly eliminates the islands starting from the outer ring until they’re forced into the center like battle royale games and have them fight to the death (comment possible variations*) 👀
I think a way to do this is to put like the bots that destroy things and erase all the life on the island.

The one cursed boom in every corner- forgot name- can't grow on its own but its put further and further like the same idea but with black grass

Kingslayer increases attack speed, which is HUGE when you have large numbers, especially when dealing with only 1 front at a time.
The Fast trait makes a lot of sense for why Fast fighters expanded and populated so fast on this map.
You think it's an ok trait, but you fail to realize that Attractive only good for maps with lots of room, when you need to expand, Fast is the way to go because you'll be able to get more done in a short amount of time, comparatively.
Something to think about in the future.
The giants were there to just have a good time, no thoughts, head empty. Pure of heart.

Should do a "Tourament of Kingdoms" where you make 32 Kingdoms go against 1 Ultra BUFFED Kingdom and see if any of the 32 can chop their way to the Top!
if a kingdom is so powerful it can take 32 kingdoms at the same time, i don't think it's a kingdom anymore, it's an empire.

Some guy on the Mellon channel keeps suggesting a Gorg/Mellon collab/battle. Maybe both of you agree to the set up and run it on both simulators and show the results of both?

In the end I think the Clan of Big was just thought to be a legend, which is why nobody attacked until they were right in their camp.

The way fast fighters were dominating then the other two kingdoms just team up and kingslayer taking profit of them exchanging island and slowly taking their island to a point they were blocked and when they try to escape they were immediately stoped while the strong guys just stayed in the corner with two islands
Hey Gorg, it would be cool to pause every so often to look at what traits each kingdom has. Like, I wonder if the Clan of Big got stupid or something right away, and that was part of the reason they didn't expand.

Clan of Big took so long to move because they were debating if being big on a small island is what made them big or if it was expanding. For years the Big Orcs on a small island won the debate.

I think this is my favorite video of yours. It's a great king of the hill fight but not absurdly strong an advantage.

I also have an idea for you:
You do five "islands" on a map. The middle one is humans with NO traits. And in each corner you do island (of humans) giving them traits based on mythology, one Egyptian, one Greek, one Roman and one Nordic. You give to one by each mytholical kingdoms titans and a lot of positives traits to show they are God of Gods (and you give their kids and others Gods similar traits but just with Giant instead of Titan) and you see what happen in this Univers.
I don't know if I'm clear but if you have questions just ask I will clear my point :D

Here's one for the suggestion pile. You've done, give all good traits at random intervals, give bad at random intervals, give random at random intervals. How about one between all 4 races and you give traits depending on how well they're doing and see if a reversal of fates is possible like this. If you're dominating and clearly on top, you get a bad trait, and if you're getting dominated or are clearly behind, you get a good trait.
The attractive trait is also good for recovering from war, which is a massive advantage.

I don't think you should use inherited traits, since they'll also get random traits, making them have all the traits very fast, I proposed, just sprinkling their original traits on their original islands, periodically.
Nah he’s mentioned before that it snowballs and makes things ramp up quicker, which is necessary for a 10-20 min TH-cam video

there needs to be a contest like this, but battle of cultures. have a number of clutures that start out, and have rebellions and such until they fight to the last culture standing. just kinda chronicle the history of the cultures that develop.

Apparently the attractive trait doesn’t make them repopulate more. It gives them +10% critical hit, +2 diplomacy, and +1 stewardship.
However the ugly trait makes them 50% less likely to repopulate.
Also, you should do some more commentary videos. Maybe some involving Mush?

I hate to quote sun tzu in a video abt little god game, but kingslayers honestly reminded me of this quote:

Island hopping wars are great for smaller nations to beat bigger ones. Because it all comes down to strategy. Big countries will put a big force on one island but then the smaller country can put multiple armies on different islands with no defense because all of the army is on a different island. Leading to the smaller country taking more land. But smaller countries might also be stupid and put all of their army on one island.
okay, 16 islands, but when somebody captures an island they get the trait of the island they took(if fast takes smart then fast also gets smart). Better traits near the middle, diplomacy disabled until year 500 or 1000, depends on how much population develops.
The inferno biome is actually great, as it is the only biome adamantite naturally spawns in.

I think kingslayers did well because the kingslayer trait gives extra military power to units which gives them more army men to throw at the enemy

If you're going to re-do immortal for all newcomers that take it over after the first owners, I would have made a single spot of mountain, and when the first owner expanded their ownership of the land to the point of controlling the mountain, that's when I would have given Immortal so that way it's not the five people who landed first vs (later on) hundreds of others with Immortal. Kinda unfair.

Keep in mind that civilians can migrate through nations and even their traits out with time. Also every change a city is conquered, rather than destroyed, the entire population is merged into theirs. Cultural separation will keep them distinguishable for a while, but miscigenation still happens.
The Fast Fighters repopulate fast because everyone moves at the speed of the Flash, so it takes like maybe a minute to conceive another baby. Their shacks don't rock, they vibrate.
Why did you give RED ORCS a FAST TRAIT. Cmon, these man had the speed of sound.
