I've actually saw you a couple of times in passing in 2022 on Sosua beach when I was at the Malibu bar, but you seemed to be too busy then to approach you. Nice video! Brings back old memories. If we don’t move to Colombia, Sosua in the winter and Jarabacoa in the summer is our second choice. The DR is still a bargain compared to Puerto Rico.
Great video Mr T but my favorite night life place to be is Brick City Flames Sports Bar across from Merengue. You showed it in your video but didn't mention it. I love sitting anywhere at the windows and having a perfect view of the strip while listening to good music and enjoying a cocktail

Stayed at SOV and had no idea they had that centre in there. It looks very nice. Not much for night life, do most of these places still apply before sundown? Thanks for making these in depth videos. So informative👍🏽

It varies - on the strip in can keep going till between 1 and 3 am most days, and others are pushed to close at midnight (as they refuse to pay bribes to the corrupt cops) and then you have other places that can run till the early morning due to corrupt Mayor and Police allowing it. Tonight the cops raided Rancho Chiquita as the owners didn't want to pay the corrupt cops their bribes - welcome to Sosua's dirty politics!
@@EducatedTraveler WOW no surprises there then Mr T I’m sure you will remember me telling you I was in Sosua back in 1992 for six weeks there were quite a few 24 hour bars back then, PJs was one in the El Batey area and another was Le Cafe Noir and some cracking bars and restaurants in Los Cheramicos Bar Bomba Bomba Cafe Maria and Temptation’s Bar, Magnificent holiday stayed at the CoCo Hotel but Sosúa was always big on corruption even back then, glad to see it’s thriving Hope the bent officials haven’t destroyed too much of Playa Sosua, looking forward to your next video 👍👍👏👏👏
Cabarete is my choice , great place to live. Great video! Mojitos restaurant is very good, Martini’s is excellent as well.
