There is no comparison between the Spanish coin and a normal bullion coin (like the eagle) The Spanish coin is a reverse proof coin, encapsulated in the mint (not in the seller), manufactured one by one... How much does a reverse proof eagle cost? Do you know of any reverse proof gold coin at this price? They are also very collectible
Wow! Good information! I'm Spanish and I don't even have a single Spanish coin. This will change. My favourite ones are buffalo's,50 pesos mexicanos,20 pesos.. Good job!!
These are great coins. Love the lynx and bull. The stallion is a poorly executed design unfortunately. But the eagle is a winner for sure - incredible wingspan work and the reverse proof glow on these coins is out of this world.
I love gold 🥇 but haven't been able to sell so I haven't bought any recently... I love both silver and gold but it's the flipping it that gets me stressed 😢
you haven't been able to sell what coins? please tell so we know which not to buy! actually in America it's very easy to sell American gold eagles. def gotta consider what's easy to sell when buying.
Why are we all keeping gold or silver then? Is it not to sell it if and when we need to? So if dealers will only give me spot or a little less than spot, then the fact they have a "collectability fee" means nothing really. So they are "worth" more sitting in your stack, however, that only means something when you sell it. If the SHTF, collectability won't mean squat. the only thing at that point that will matter is the gold content for barter. Am I wrong?
As I said and showed in the video, there are many collectors out there who will buy these coins with higher premium as I clearly showed in the video. When the coins first come out, they are roughly the same price as American gold eagles, but the Spanish coins sell for more on the secondary market. What don’t you get?
Depends on what state you live in. Its a full ounce of pure gold, it may be taxable, whereas US coins in your state may not be taxable. But it meets the requirements of being non-taxable in most states.
So embarrassing that Spain’s eagle design is better than ours. Not a fan of the American gold Eagle reverse, never have been. Just an ugly design. We can do better.
I would agree when it comes to the old design with the 2 eagles and nest - - a lame design. But I do like the new eagle's head alone with the glint in his eye. Yes the new design is a winner in the gold eagle. I like it very much and of course the St Gaudens design on the other side is fine as well. But yes it would be good if the US mint could produce a greater variety and classier pieces in general.
you are nuts. the Lynx is awesome and so is the Bull. The Toro (Bull) is an absolutely stunning coin. The stallion is the only bad one because the artist didn't do a good job on the horse's back legs. But the Eagle is also a winner. Incredible beautiful wingspan.. and unlike the US coins (gold eagle and buffalo) these spanish coins are REVERSE PROOF - - they absolutely sparkle and glow. yet unlike the Libertad reverse proof, they are more affordable.
Very informative. The reverse proof make these coins look amazing. The series is a must have for me.
Buen video. La tirada de cada moneda es de 12000 unidades. El lince esta agotado en la mint.
Saludos desde España!!

I bought my first Spanish gold lynx from watching your Channel a couple years ago

Love the Imperial Eagle. Can’t wait to see the 2025 Spanish Bear. Will go well paired with the Toro. High quality products from the Spanish Mint.

Where can this coin be bought? Might sell my Krugerrand to get one
You can buy it from me. Email me through my website empirepreciousmetals.com
@@EmpirePreciousMetalsdo you ship to Canada?
Id love to see the Palladium Eagle in gold
Thank you, EPM. Does the Spanish Mint also issue these series in silver/platinum coins?
No.
Those Spanish gold coins are beautiful. I love the reverse proof libertads, if only they had more variety.
Great video Matt have a great week 👍
Thanks! You too!
what about libertads? Is there a reason they have even bigger premiums than maples/gold eagles?
Only thing I can think of is they have a lower mintage.
Do you know when the 1/10ths are coming out for these imperial eagles?
March 25
@@EmpirePreciousMetals - so next year........... strange they released the 1 oz but not the 1/10.
The best way to view the lenticular design is from straight from the top and move straight downwards
👍🏻👍🏻
Where did you buy your Spanish coins from ?
My wholesaler. I’m a dealer. If you’re interested in one, email me for a quote

@@slowride9994 truth is I'm not actively trying to sell... I should exchange some silver for some gold at my LCS👍💯🍻
Love the pistols in the back, Where did you get them? 🤩🤩
👀👀👀

Wish I had of known this lesson … Great information & totally makes sense !!! Thanks dude …🌎🗿™️
Of course!

If a SHTF scenario happens (everyone has a different definition of SHTF), then yes, just the gold content is most likely what people will care about
people will always care about the beauty of a coin and a nice looking coin will always be in more demand than one that is not.
Stormy.. 1/10 horse or eagle?
You can always buy an American gold eagle.
Doesn’t matter what you paid. Only thing relevant is today’s price vs the eagles. Why pay 500 more now?

Spanish designs have gotten a lot better. Man I like that coin. The Lynx I didn't like nearly as much. Yes, I know I'm picky 😅
Britannia all the way sorry just my favorite
Si Senor.
The British Britannia are also a better buy since it has a more beautiful and elegant design
If it aint on Costco, I dont buy it. :-)

Tax implications for what?

That was awesome Matt. I didn't no any of that info. We're brainwashed into AGEs 😂. Excellent Information.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Just bought 2 eagles oz but proof and it’s a game changer . 100x better than the regular
