Hello everyone~ Thank you so much for your comments and questions. For some reason, TH-cam doesn't show me some of the comments that I have received a notification for, and as such, I cannot reply to them ;_; I apologize if you didn't receive a response-I promise I saw them and want to reply to them. I have reported the problem to TH-cam, but I'm not sure if it will be resolved. Regardless, I would like to express my appreciation for how you took time to watch the video and leave a comment! Thank you so much~
Hello did u have to pay out of pockets for all your covid tests? Me and my husband are trying to go when they bring back quarantine exemption(hopefully soon) to see his parents but if we have to pay for all those tests for the 2 of us that’s gonna be super expensive u have to take one when u arrive and 7 days later right?😞😦
Hello~ Thank you for asking for clarification^^ It would have been covered in one of my next videos about my first couple weeks in Korea, but I've been a bit backed up with my editing ;_; The only Covid tests you have to pay for yourself is what you need to submit to the airline (so to and from Korea)! The tests that you take the day/day after you arrive and 7 days later are covered by the Korean government. For further clarification, the reason why you have to payout of pocket for the covid test for your flight back from Korea is because the government only sends you a text about your test results, and this text isn't considered valid for flights! You have to find an actual clinic that will be printing out a certificate about your test result :) I'll hopefully be posting a vlog including the place I went to (I went to the cheapest one I could find^^) soon as well! Hope this was helpful~ Please feel free to ask for more clarification if you need any :)
Hello! I'm not completely sure what you're asking. Are you asking for the instance of going to Incheon for your return flight? If that's the case, most people take the PCR test a day or two before at a local health center
Hi 👋 I am planning to return to the US during the holidays from Korea. Do u know if I can use any negative PCR test from free screening locations here or do they have to be certain designated locations? I've been hearing from other ppl that they took theirs at the airport before their flight, however, it's SO expensive. I would prefer to save money and not have to deal with that.
Hello! Sorry for the late response. I personally have not gone through the process, but what I've collected from my peers and my own personal research, the free screening locations only provide the negative test through text. In order to get the actual written document, you need to go to places that will actually print out your identification and results, but like you said, it is much more pricier. I have heard that there are a couple places that are doing it for cheaper (ie: private clinics), but regardless, it does cost extra money. Hope this helps!
