It was awesome seeing more of Malcom in this entry as well as far more dinosaurs! Some of the scenes in this film were so action packed and the death count got so high! Loved it. Enjoy :)

Eddie's death has got to be the most brutal in any of the Jurassic franchise. The guy went out like a hero though
And nedry in the book. That was so graphic
And the sad thing is Eddy didn't ask for it (outside of going to the island) like other characters did.
Fun fact. When I first saw that scene as a young child (my mom accidentally left the TV running and didn't realize the program had changed), she walked in just as Eddie's death came on.
Anf I apparently looked up at her and said, "Look mommy, dinosaurs share!"
And somehow I still love these movies instead of being scarred for life 😂
Yeah its so true!! Brutal but insanely heroic
I would argue that the most brutal (and necessarily so) death was in Jurassic World
The guy that got eaten trying to open the door when the T-Rex is on its rampage in San Diego is labelled in the end movie credits as 'Unlucky Bastard' 🤣
Another curious fact: He is David Koepp, the man who wrote the script for the film.
@franklesher4459 I always thought that was micheal Crighton the writer of the books
@@ChanoCYBER9Avila No but Crichton appeared in JP 1, in the first scene we see Dennis Nedry and Dogson, in the background. 😊
@ellesharil6153 cool. Now I gotta rewatch that scene now
Did the poor dog get a credit, too?
Eddie was one of the only truly decent people in the Jurassic Park series. I wish more people would be like Eddie.
Right?? He really sticks out to me. Did everything he could to the last second.
If there was anyone who did NOT deserve to go that way, it's him. And he DID.
Dead?
@@MatthewJamesKalasky
They did him dirty in the movie. I know they tried to be more balanced with good/bad people in the movie, but no one deserved what Eddie got.
@@BottomlessCoffee. They didn't do him dirty it's a fucking movie, there's plot he's supposed to die just because your good doesn't mean you're automatically gonna survive
24:46 "So far this movie has been pretty action packed. They didn't waste any time."
I think you mean they spared no expense.
"She's not wrong, but that's not what this is about right now!" - this. Just, this.
Random little fact. Hammond in the opening mentions to Malcolm the 3 deaths referring to Genaro (the Lawyer) Mr. Arnold (Samuel L. Jackson) and Robert (the Hunter/Raptor expert) he doesn't mention Dennis the guy who shut everything down to steal the embryos. This is because his body was technically never found so no one knows where he is or what happened to him.
I'd see it as tragic if he hadn't done it to himself, so really it's just ironic
"There's a dinosaur in our backyard."
which was my actual nightmares when I was a kid!
A few times over the course of my life, I've had nightmares about being hunted by a t-rex, this movie is definitely why!
4:39 “where your going is the only place in the world where the geese chase you”
Me: nervously Laughs I’m Canadian while keeping an eye out for a Canadian Goose 😅
Fellow Canadian here. And I thought the same thing! 🤣😂
Here, here to the cobra chickens!
Hahaha 😂 (borat accent) High Five 🖐
NYer here who once was chased down a parkway by a goose who I brushed with my car. Do you lot equip your geese with switchblades before you send them south?

No, they just wake up and choose violence lol
To answer your question about the compies hunting that guy. It's not clear in the movie. But in the novel the compies saliva is venomous. Whatever they would bite would basically fall into anesthesia effects causing them to sleep/pass out. So they would track what they bit until the effects set in. Then they would eat their prey alive.
Spoilers Ahead!
In the books, the grandkids mess with the speaker system after the events of Jurassic Park and scare Hammond who was internally cursing them because he really brought them there to guilt trip the others into endorsing the park. Compys got to him and his last thoughts were on how the compys hunted the young, old and infirm with a venom that eased you to sleep.
In 39:20 is the screen writter (David Koepp) who got eaten by the Rex and is credited in the credits with the name "Unlucky Bastard", it's a nice easter egg 😄
Well, don't forget:
If you are in a group of people getting chased by a predator, you don't have to be faster than the predator to survive. You just have to be faster than the slowest member of your group...
As the saying goes, “you don’t have to outrun the bear, you just need to outrun your friends”
That helps if the dinos would come chasing from behind, but against a pack of Raptors you get overwhelmed from the sides and you're toast regardless... :P
Dad ALWAYS reminds me of this 😂😂😂
That would work... if not for the MANY predators out to get ya.
The Lost World has some great deleted scenes, especially the one introducing Roland and Ajay at a bar in Kenya. Roland has been a professional hunter for decades and having hunted every dangerous animal there is, has grown bored and wants a greater challenge. Ajay has been his partner for many years, which makes Roland's sadness much more relatable after Ajay's death. The scene was deleted for pacing issues, but is often shown in TV broadcasts.
I love that scene! Wish it was inserted back into the film for DVDs and not just TV. Gives Roland such depth.
I always figured Ian going "This is going to be bad" was him putting 2+2 together from his last run in with a t-rex.
37:58 is literally my nightmare when I was a kid. I remember being 5 or 6 and my family watching the first Jurassic Park and I couldn't handle it, and I used to imagine a T-Rex peeking in through my second-story bedroom window just like in this scene.
What makes these movies still look so good is that they did know verry well when to use animatronics and when to use CGI.
The 1999 documantary walking with dinosaurs also manages to still look pretty good. At that time it was also one off the first times dinosaurs were portrayed as animals and not as monsters.
Both the jurrasic park movies and the walking with dinosaurs documentary were a big part off my childhood.
I saw this on opening night in a theater that was packed to the gills, and the whole place had the wildest fun time with it. It was one of those magical theater-going experiences that only comes along once in a while.
In the books, it's not mentioned in the films, compy's are mildly venomous and travel in the large groups we see, with multiple bites causing drowsiness even in adult humans so they succumb to that feeling and then get eaten by compys
I'm not going to lie, that is terrifying. I am glad they went extinct.
While this film isn’t my favorite and it doesn’t top the original film, I still enjoy the film thanks to Jeff Goldblum’s performance as Ian Malcolm, the visual effects and seeing more familiar and new dinosaurs. The Funny thing is that I saw bits and pieces of the movie when I was a kid but the only parts I remember were the little Girl being surrounded by the Compies in the beginning of the movie and Ian and Sarah operating on the baby T-Rex before the parents arrive and Ian rescue Sarah and the Baby T.Rex when the truck was falling.
Lastly, I always wondered what happened to Dr. Sarah Harding and Ian’s daughter, Kelly Curtis following this film since they never appeared nor were they ever mentioned in the _Jurassic World_ movies.
Looking forward to your reaction to the third film and the _Jurassic World_ films.
Heard that the actress who played Kelly had her home broken into and they stole all her memorabilia from this movie. Never learned who did it but it sucks
I'm sorry, but if a Tyrannosaurus rex (or any predator) stuck its head in my tent while I was asleep, I'd be pissing/shitting myself. I also feel so bad when Eddie gets Lady & The Tramped by the male and female Tyrannosaurs.
Side notes:
1. The little green dinosaur is a carnivorous species called Compsognathus.
2. In the novel of The Lost World, Cathy Bowman (the little girl on the beach) is revealed to have survived her ordeal with the Compsognathuses.
3. You can tell the male and female Tyrannosauruses apart, since the female is larger than the male. (similar to female Goliath bird-eating spiders, black widow spiders and praying mantises).
The way you describe Eddie's demise is sending me 😂😂😂
Eddie deserved better 😢
Now I want to see an edit with the music from that Lady & the Tramp scene.
@@tyranusfan
The Rexes feasting while "Bella Notte" plays in the background would be oddly cute.
They based the idea of the female being larger than the males on modern raptors like eagles, hawks, and owls, rather than on bugs. They are modern dinosaurs after all.
18:28 I always thought that after what Sarah said, he probs realized that the T-rex parents are gonna behave like actual parents. They're gonna be angry and come get their baby and then leave with it to get it to safety. However, they're pissed off... They're gonna come back for revenge lol. The other theory is what you already guessed though: He saw the Rexes through the window.
Grew up watching this series and love it also you need to watch Disney's 2000 Dinosaur movie once you finish this series it's a great movie and I know you will love it
Fun fact: when the Japanese guys are running from the T Rex in San Diego; the Japanese dialog is saying "this is why i left Japan" which is referencing Godzilla
The general rule in the Jurassic series: It's one smart guy with actual experience dealing with a slew of people who refuse to listen. Once again, T-Rex steals the spotlight.
I’m glad I caught this when it was first uploaded. I recommend you read the two books as they are so good.
Ditto!! I love how there is some clear inspiration from both books in every one of the films
I will always be a JP fan but they did Eddie so dirty in this. 😭😭 Poor guy, he only wanted to help!!
At least it wasn't his novel death.
@@scottb3034 point taken
He was my favorite character. That scene where he is pinned under the mangled roll cage and the camera shows him contorting in his seat to keep the accelerator pedal pressed... damn. Every time I watch that scene a little part of me hopes that *this* time... he manages to get the dart rifle untangled.
Also good attention pointing out Malcolm’s issues as a dad, as father-child relationships is a reoccurring theme in most Spielberg films.
Two father-child relationships if you include the two T-rexes in the city. Lol.
due to his own father issues.
@@meganlodon oh really nice catch. I always forget the Rex that was in San Diego was the male
The guy in the phone box is David Koepp, one of the screenwriters :)
Also Steven Spielberg has a little Easter egg at he end - when they are all watching the convoy of boats going back to Isla Sorna, you see the reflections in the tv of Ian, Sarah and Kelly. In one of those very brief shots, you can see Steven Spielberg sat on the sofa with them in the reflection. Fun little thing to find :)
"Did she just say we're not here to interact with them?" 😂 I just put 2 and 2 together on that, with the irony, and I've seen this multiple times.
pls talk more about the music in movies. John Williams is a genius and I loved hearing your thoughts.

Is John Ammond that dies by Compsognathus and he is actually a pretty evil guy, not like the lovely old man from the movies.
And you die from compy bites (and from any reptiles bite) due to the awful amount of bacterias in their saliva directly shot into your bloodstream (if you're "lucky" enough not to die because of the bite itself). This was explained in the first book as well.
Considering that the bites also gave you a euphoric feeling while being eaten by the compys, that is a brutal way to go
3 gets a lot of dislike but I LOVE NUMBER 3!!!!!
I hated the hunter when I watched this as a kid and identified with Sarah a lot as an animal lover. There were years between the films, so it's easy to forget the carnage and remember what it was like to see the Brachiosaurus for the first time. That's the mode Sarah is in for the first part of the film. As an adult, I don't like his behavior in the beginning, but I like the hunter's attitude and the way his character changes through the movie. I still like Sarah because I would absolutely give my life to see prehistoric animals for a few days.
I know what you mean. There is actually a deleted scene that introduces him before we see him on the island. One that was included in the 4 part Dark Horse or IDW comic book adaptation of this movie. This scene shows when Ludlow hires Dodgeson at a bar in Africa I think. It showed Dodgeson putting a drunken brute who was harassing the attractive waitress by beating him with one hand actually tied behind his back. Shows he's got principals and is super tough. Can't agree with his ethics being a hunter either, but at least he has some morals.
Another deleted scene showed it was one of his men who broke the baby rex's leg, not him.
(Cops and animal control arrive. T-Rex roars.)
Cops: THIS JOB DON'T PAY ENOUGH! (Retreat.)
What was AC planning to do? Nab it with one of their nifty little neck snares?

This came out when I was little, only saw bits and pieces of it when mom watched it, but had nightmares about T Rex's walking outside my house and looking through my windows for years thanks to this movie
I actually love all the movies, and before anyone comments yes dominion too 😅
9:10 There's always at least ONE kid in a Jurassic Park movie.
This movie is a guilty pleasure. It's got some stupid characters that make stupid decisions, but its still pretty fun. I love the climax in the city even though most people think its pointless.
Sarah was infuriating for me, i was screaming "let her die" the whole movie
The hunter saying "Predators don't hunt unless they are hungry."
Me watching the movie being like "But Human's are supposedly the greatest of all predators, and you're here hunting for sport, not food."
This movie was not liked by a lot of people and critics, I thought it was fun though.
The guy on the beach with the British accent at the start is Robin Sachs, who played the villain Ethan Rayne in several episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He sadly passed away a few years ago.
I don't why people disregard this film. While it's not the original, I love that it's so different from the first one and it went in a different darker direction... it's still so fun and action packed, the score is nonstop thrills, we get to actually see velociraptors hunt in packs and it has one of the best action set pieces ever directed: the two T-Rexes attacking the truck and throwing it over the cliff.
It's still based on the book that came out 2 years before this one and 5 years after the first book.
31:01 I love how the guy yells "Don't go into the long grass!" And then proceeds to run straight into it with everyone else
The opening scene of this movie harkens back to a similar scene in the original Michael Crichton novel (he wrote two Jurassic Park novels) where a few "compys" are discovered eating a LIVE NEW BORN HUMAN BABY a BITE AT A TIME
Jurassic Park is just one of about 18 novels written by the brilliant Dr John Michael Crichton MD that have been adapted into motion pictures. Also Michael Crichton, as executive producer and creator of television's E.R., could IMHO credibly be given most of the credit for launching the careers of Noah Wylie, Eriq La Salle, Julianna Margulies, Maura Tierney, and uh oh yeah some guy named George Clooney whose BEST E.R. episodes IMHO are ALL scenes he did with his IRL Mom Rosemary.
I wasn’t sure if anyone mentioned how Malcom dies in the first book but everyone loved Goldblum’s performance Crichton worked his magic and brought him back for the lost world.
@@MrTbk1701Malcolm actually has his burial mentioned at the end of the first book, and from an omniscient perspective too, not by one of the characters.
Of course, it's a brief line that could have been easily removed in an updated edition.
Fun fact: the dinosaur (pack) that attacks the little girl was the very first dinosaur species to ever appear on Earth (hence why it’s so teeny-weeny)
That’s how good John Williams is, he looks to his own works for inspiration. Legend.
this one is actually my favourite! I love the first one, but this one just holds a special place in my heart :')
excited to see your reaction to the third movie! it's also enjoyable imo
I remember watching this is the theater when it first came out. That part where the raptor suddenly poked it's head out near the little girl had the whole audience jump and scream including me! I think that might be a core memory.
"How many Sarah's do you think are on this island??" Classic
The fact that Eddie still gave his all to save Sarah, Ian, and Nick even as he was being attacked by T-Rexes is amazing. What a true hero🥺❤️
The compies (the small dinos that eat the bad guy hunter) are supposed to be mildly venomous according to the books and the Netflix show "Camp Cretaceous". That's how they were able to kill the hunter, lots of small doses of venom to weaken him until they could swarm him.
I love the PURE JOY you have watching this! This is my favorite JP movie by far and it makes me so happy to see someone else enjoy it
Yay another dinosaur movie.
Thx for reacting Oscar.
Love you and your videos your reactions and commentary.
This one i don't remember watching it must have been so long ago.
"The compies didn't look dangerous at first sight. They were the size of a hen and walked nervously like a hen. But he (John Hammond) knew that they were venomous. Their bites delivered a slow-acting poison that they used to kill wounded animals. small theropod dinosaur that lived during the Late Triassic Period, about 222 to 219 million years ago. Procompsognathus was named by Eberhard Fraas in 1913. He named the type species, P. triassicus, on the basis of a poorly-preserved skeleton found in Württemberg, Germany.
Procompsognathus may have been about 1.2 meters long (4 feet). A biped, it had long hind legs, short arms, large, clawed hands, a long slender snout with many small teeth, and a stiff tail. It lived in a relatively dry, inland environment and may have eaten insects, lizards, and other small prey. But were deadly in a group.
Some things about the boat that transports the T-Rex don't make sense; like how did the guy who closed the door on the T-Rex die, and how did the guy in the cabin get killed when the T-Rex wouldn't even fit. Things like that. I recall seeing once that they'd originally intended for a small pack of raptors to have gotten onto the boat and then escape into the city as well, but they cut it because they didn't have a good way to stop them all without just killing them, which would kind of undermine the whole message of the movie.
The baby t-Rex
Real fact, this movie made sure that the compies terrify me. I'm legitimately more terrified of the compies than I am for the t-rex, raptors, or any other dino. I just feel like you'd have a much slower death with the compies nibbling away than the one bite others could do😅
I can't believe they all got died like that
In the book those compies (the little green ones) had a mildly venomous bite that gradually wore their prey down which is how they were able to kill
15:59
Malcom: "This is the safest place you can be"
Oscar: "I think so too"
Dinosaur: *Roars*🦖
Oscar: 😱😮😮😮😨😨😨
lol
A couple fun facts if you don't mind very mild spoliers to the novels.....
....
The idiot guy who bothered the Compys ( minis), his scene where he fell down the hill and got attacked by the Compys, a similar thing happened to Hammond at the end of the first book. So come The Lost World novel, recordings were used for him instead.
Then the last 20 minutes never happened in the book. It was highly emphasized not to take dinos off the island. Everything finished on the island.
The composer for all of the Jurassic movies was John Williams who also did Star Wars war of the worlds Jaws, Harry Potter
At 18:28, Malcolm noticed that there were never any footsteps, so the Rex's never left and were about to attack.
This movie lowkey traumatized me as a kid, mainly because of the part where the boy saw the trex from his window... I was lowkey scared of looking out the window at night for some time because I was scared I'd see a trex staring at me😭
Dude watch edge with Anthony Hopkins. It’s a story about three pilots are stranded in the wilderness, and they’re being chased by a grizzly bear..
Funfact its Spielbergs King Kong. Same storyline. In the Making Of of the first movie he loved the animatronics of the 70's King Kong, wich why he wanted a giant gate for Jurassic Park. With Lost World he made actually his version with King Kong.
Your reaction at 16:01 was perfect (🤭)!! Every time I hear that roar no matter how many times I watch this movie my heart skips a beat. Lol at 33:39 and 36:56!! U definitely had a fun time watching this. Can’t wait to see what u think of Jurassic Park 3!!😊😁🦖🩸🏝️🌃
The compys (little dinos) have venom in their saliva like a komodo dragon in the book. That's why he looked really sluggish and didn't put up much of a fight. The venom from the first attack was taking effect.
33:40 that reaction 👌😅 watching these jurassic park films in the cinema when they first came out was the best experience - can you just imagine everyone in the theatre, reacting the way you did, all at the same time!?? 😆
I think you can tell the difference in the CGI between the first two by the fact that when the Velociraptor leaps on the guy from from the grass and is fully extended, that's a CGI shot in it looks really good, and shows how galvanic and active these creatures would be as opposed to the limits that were placed on their movements by the use of animatronics and actors in suits in the first one.
fun story
I saw this in theater at the age of 6.
I got restless and started to walk around.
when the first raptor jumped out of the grass I grabbed a full grown mans shoulders.
he was so freaked out and pissed off
#3 is my personal favorite
Same here!!! It's an action packed thrill ride from start to finish. Plus I love the Spinosaurus.
How dare you
Fun fact, even though I don’t remember the full story…the character Robert Burke in this movie is a reference and/or parody of real world paleontologist Robert Bakker, whose theories often clashed with those of Jack Horner, who worked on the first four movies in this franchise…most reluctant to this story is that debate of weather or not T Rex was a hunter of scavenger, Bakker believed the former, and Horner the latter. And Burke’s death in this movie is a reference to that debate, apparently when Bakker saw that death, he just said “I told you T Rex was a predator” which is honestly the best attitude you can have for your rival killing a parody version of you
The game hunter Roland is the best character in the movie, he has 2 deleted scenes that make him even better
I have very fond memories of sneaking into this movie as a 10 year old. I went with a friend, and our parents thought we were going to see a cartoon. There's nothing like seeing that waterfall scene on the big screen as a kid and being fully immersed in the action.
I'm sure that the dad telling his wife to leave their daughter alone was just tired of his wife bothering their daughter (being a mom), but then regrets it when his daughter gets attacked because she was alone. Nice job dad! Father of the year!
39:11 Actually, there is one single Blockbuster left. I believe its still fully operational, but its more of a nostalgia store.
In the original "Jurassic Park" novel it is explained that the "Compy's" the tiny dinosaurs who take down Deter have an enzyme in their saliva that causes a tranquilizing or narcotic effect when bitten by enough of them. With this they can subdue larger prey and just wait for them to pass out making it easier to feed. That's why it seemed as if they'd attack and back off and wait and see if it was taking effect.
With the “hang on this is going to be bad” thing, he realised that if T-Rex truly had parental instincts, that meant that they would feel the urge to eliminate any threat to their young.
Compsognathus, the small rat like dinosaurs, at least in the Jurassic franchise supposedly have trace amounts of venom in their bite
The compy death scene was, in the novel, Hammond’s death after going off on his own and getting jumpscared by his grandchildren playing a T Rex roar? (I forgot what they did with the PA system) and falls into a ravine, breaks legs, and falls victim to the anesthetic compy bites as they eat him alive.
Also being from San Diego, I was hoping a Jurassic Park would have been there lol.
5:34 "Las Cinco Muertes" literally translates to "The Five Deaths" in spanish,. So poignant lol.
The two part vehicle in this film I literally had as a toy when I was little
27:15 - Procompsognathus was thought to be a pack hunter and they deployed paralyzing venom to the prey with small bites. A lot of the stuff in this movie are little things that were in the book but were left out from the first movie, compys was one of them. I love your reactions to these classics and I highly recommend reading Crichton's book, it's is amazing.
This is a really undervalued sequel.
The only best sequel and knowing the line ups it's not a high bar to overcome
Idk if anyone noticed, but the compy that popped out at the one guy, it had a red eye, meaning that was the same one he zapped. Also yeah, basically, it isnt said in the movies but the compies have venom in their bites that basically act like anesthesia
It's hilarious that you noticed the similarities there in John's music. He actually did something similar with Star Wars & Harry Potter where he accidentally let the same musical score get printed for both films because he was composing them both at the same time.
There was a video game, Lost World: Chaos Island. Would be considered rather lame bt today's game standards. But when you clicked on Eddie, the character who got ripped in half, sometimes he would say, "Didn't I die, in..in the movie, I died."
I suggest you to react to the "Iron Giant 1999"...
Roland wanted to hunt the T-Rex because he had already hunted basically every other land carnivore on Earth and he was bored out of his mind. In a deleted scene, he pics a fight with a group of guys in their 30's and fought them all with one hand literally tied behind his back, messed all of them up, and Ajay (his best friend) remarked that he did it out of sheer boredom.
Once he learned about the existence of the T-Rex, he felt it was his last opportunity for an actual challenge as a hunter.
Yeah but “why” does he want to hunt every land carnivore. I wonder if it has to do with him feeling the need to earn the right to be the apex predator on the planet which he kinda explained.
@@thecocoacouchI imagine it's similar to how a UFC fighter wants to fight the best of the best opponents so he/she can prove they're the best. Roland is a hunter and he wants to prove that he's the best by hunting the best of the best and the most dangerous animals there are. A herbivore aint really that dangerous; a carnivore is. He probs also just enjoys the hunt and the adrenaline from it too I imagine. Keep in mind that all hunters are obviously not like Roland lol. Most hunters hunt to put food on their table or cause an animal in their area is causing trouble for the public or their way of living.
Julienne Moore character Sarah was in jurassic park with her dad who was the guy we saw with the sick triceratops we just never saw Sarah
16:03 Literaly the best excited Spongebob impression that's ever been done
Something about Compys that they neglected to say in the movie is that they have a venomous bite, in small doses its not that bad but it's more lethal the more there are. They're mainly scavengers though, meaning they just eat leftovers from a kill from bigger carnivores.
This one was always my favorite growing up. 💚 Of course not counting the first one. They’ll never be able to beat the first 😊
Within the first 10 seconds, I couldn't help but notice the apparent "bruise" on Oscar's neck. Boy, hate it when that happens!
The only other movie I know that the actress playing as Ian's daughter Kelly, I have only ever seen her in this movie and A Little Princess.
I think "Lost World: Jurassic Park" is one of John Williams best work. You can just hear how much fun he had with it. It is much more primal and darker than the score of the first movie.
The guy that the T-Rex killed in San Diego was credited as unlucky bastard
Real life raptors (or more accuratey dromeosaurids) would have been powerful predators, but the last twenty years worth of discoveries kinda have cut them down to size a bit.
They are mow considered to have been considersbly slower and not nearly as supersmart as portrayed in the movies (in fact the Rex was probably far smarter than them, it was Tyrannosaurus who had the biggest and probably most complex brain of all known carnivorous dinosaurs, Rexy's intelligence was underestimated while that of the raptors was overrated), they probably weren't even packhunters and specialized mostly in smaller prey that many previously imagined, even their forelimbs were built in a way that probably would have made it impossible to open doors the way shown on screen.
All the while the Tyrannosaurus Rex has been only discovered to have been even more powerful and tough (and possibly growing to considerably larger sizes) AND much smarter than long assumed.
They just couldn't run as fast as in Jurrassic Park.
Still very fast for an animal of such incredible size and mass, and quite mimble, able to make very fast turns, which helped in hunting incredibly powerful, well armed and dangerous prey like Ankylosaurus and probably very much an endurance hunter (kinda like us humans).
Neither Spinosaurus nor the huge but much, much more lightly built and fragile Giganotosaurus from "Dominion" would have stood a chance against tanklike Rex.
He may not have been the single biggest but he was certainly by a huge margin the most powerful of all the predatory dinosaurs, even for those matching and perhaps surpassing the Rex in size facing it would have been like trying to fight a locomotive.
props to eddie for trying, but there was no way he was surviving two t-rex and rescuing the others.
compsognathus (the little green ones that attacked the little girl and the jerk) they are kind of like rats of the dinosaur age. they rarely attack anything that faces them, they wait until the back is turned then swarm the foe in large groups. they also go for smaller prey (like the little girl).
the hunter guy is one of those obsessed types...he probably has every animal on his wall somewhere...now he wants to prove to himself he can hunt a t-rex.
