I love listening to podcasts to help me stay up to date with new practice information and updates because I can listen anywhere! I cover my favorite nursing podcasts, podcasts for primary and acute care, as well as my favorite women's health podcasts. Let me know what your favorites are!

The Working Nurse- two nurses talking about the experiences and difficult topics they encounter at work
American Family Physician- gives up-to-date research in family medicine. Based on journal
Reach MD- has topics on everything, and provide things like journal articles and interviews w specialists
Curbsidesrs Internal Medicines- in depth of internal medicine and how to deal with it as a Primary care provider

So I just started listening "This Podcast Will Kill You" and I _love_ it. It's two college students (diseasiologists) that go through diseases and it's really good. Highly recommend! Then for more informational type I will always recommend Dr. Greger's Nutrition Facts.org podcast. The latest research on nutrition and he's entertaining to boot! Good luck catching up on your podcasts!
Someone else just recommended it and I started listening and LOVE IT! Thank you! I've never heard of Dr Greger's but I'm on my way to go get it because I feel like I need to know so so much more about nutrition. Thank you!

I recently tried listening to The Working Nurse podcast and oh my gosh. It was so bad. I watched the episode where they were talking about professionalism in the workplace, and one of the girls was screaming the entire time, it was killing my mic. So I wouldn’t recommend this ☹️ but I love Fresh RN! They’re really insightfu! Totally would recommend. I also love your videos liz! Thanks for being so awesome.
Oof I haven’t listened to all of them, but haven’t heard any of theirs like that. I’ll check out that other one for sure!

Great suggestions, several of which I also listen to! I'm an FNP/WHNP, so I appreciate any shared knowledge you've got! Another WH podcast a friend just told me about is CREOGs Over Coffee - quick 10 minute WH topics discussed (says it's meant for busy OB/GYN residents).

Know any good ones for medical research/data/statistics? I have an ESL student who is a nurse practitioner in Taiwan and interested in something called "R". I'd like to get her into podcasts to try to improve her listening skills.
I don't know of any like that but hopefully somebody else will see this who may know of some!

If you have an iPhone, you search for them in the podcast app
Just search for them wherever you find your podcasts. I use an app called Overcast, but like Melissa said, if you have an iphone you can just use the apple podcast app.
