TZH was so good in terms of action set pieces, especially, Katrina Kaif in the song, "Tera Noor". I was blown away by her physical ability in hand-to-hand combat scenes. Also, Sultan and TZH are AAZ's best movies for me.

Basically, the film is an amalgamation of everything that is done in other films:
1) India-Pakistan conflict (Exhausting is an understatement)
2) Villian with no crisp origin story
3) Supporting actors almost as old as the main actors
4) Random action scene after the other.
5) Stupid dialogues which add nth

The other category of audience (KGF, Pushpa audience) that watches commercial masala has discovered south directors, who are way better at this genre. 'Jawan' kinda movies will definitely work but Rohit Shetty type content era is over.....

I'm still waiting for a proper Buddy Cop Action Comedy in Indian Cinema something like Bad Boys, Lethal Weapon, Nice Guys etc. It's such an enjoyable & entertaining genre and used to be a sure shot moneymaker in Hollywood. I hope someone tries to bring something different to the genre in Bollywood in future.

Watched MAidaan today in a empty theater. it is sad that a superb movie like this is not finding takers. Ajay Devgn (and i am not a fan) should get a national award for this. Great to see golden period of Indian football and the football matches shot brilliantly in the 2nd half.. Last 1 hour is pure goosebumps

Why they would choose BMCM and make a movie like this. It will just be compared or rather overshadowed. The original was made with a stellar starcast even the madhuri's cameo with makhna. Although story was inspired from bad boys. The range of emotions by the legends in each of the songs is levels above. Just what were they thinking.
I, now, Genuinely feel bad for Akshay. He was once a hit machine, but now I see Akshay is out of options. I guess the time has come for Akshay to either embrace Charecter roles or take retirement and focus on his production.
I love how akki fans are running everywhere asking reviewers if they didn't get paid and if that's why they're giving negative reviews.... I guess they don't understand that they're insinuating that the only way this movie can get a good review is by paying people 😂
The makers were in a rush kyunki akshay kumar would have told them- 50 din ka time de raha hun. Usme ho jaati hai shooting toh theek hai warna main toh nahi ruk raha. Maine aage 5 filmein ki date di hain. 40 ads hain fir mujhe apne se aadhi umar ki actresses k saath thumke bhi lagaane hai canada jaake concert mein.

People might be just noticing, but the akshay problem has been going for so long, the guy used to give all his heart to his projects and act so well, be it comedy or action. But lately with his movies it just feels from his presence and dialogue delivery like he's just there for his paycheck. His acting has been wooden and stale in every movie now especially in selfie, samrat prithviraj and now this. Glad you noticed this as well.
I agree with what you said about Akshay being on autopilot because it genuinely felt like he was just here for the cheque while Tiger actually had fun with the role. (I can't believe this is what it's come to, but Tiger was more enjoyable in this film for me than Akshay.)

I feel bad for Tiger tbh. The guy lacks the acting chops but is a really humble star. He and his Team need to think about a reinvention be it going the villain route or a non action comedy movie to improve.
Do try to watch the new releases from Malayalam, Aavesham and Varshangalkku Shesham.... Both from two different genres and still gives a wow feeling..

This now proves that directors like Ali Abbas Jafar and Sidharth Anand only gave good movies at YRF because were controlled by the hierarchy at YRF. After their venture outside this group they got too much freedom and made mess with their recent films.
The funniest scene is where tiger runs for 15sec in front of a metro train for aalya f to open the door for tiger at then end of the run

I watched the movie before watching the reviews and it was not that bad. I agree it has lot of flaws in the plot but still looked good on the big screen. The action sequences are enjoyable but only in theaters. I would say Indian movies are getting better in vfx.

His bad phase isn't pleasing at all
But' one needs to understand that 'quality work bhi bahot jaruri hoti hai, bas project krne h paise arhey is not a thing

Bro it has been 5 years since the release of Housefull 3 which marked Akshay's downfall era.. He never analysed why his films flopped, he just thinks of being consistent with his work and everything will be fine.. but thats not gonna work for more.. its high time that Akshay the Kumar should should retrospect of works.

Brother as a die hard fan he vision for movie is like Thursday,Friday,Saturday and Sunday Agar Achcha kiya to Sunday tha to movie Chalegi Nahin to Monday se next movie ki shooting shuru 😢 this hurts a lot he didn't even think what's wrong with his last movie he did each and every thing for that I mean he literally don't care about his own hard work though he a had broken leg nad 103 fever during this movie shooting still he didn't take a break the dedication he gives is fine but self check Is also important too
