They are more like assets for rich people just like paintings. Some people also consider it as a piece of art and not all art are masterpieces and some watches are extremely rare
Sometimes I look at my $30 Seiko, and a sense of wealth and wellbeing sweeps over me, when I think of how much money I have in the bank, by not buying a Richard Mille.
30$ seiko? You are kidding right?
@@nimish2073 When it was new, yeah!
Exactly 💯
There's no 30 buck seiko
@@ekekonoise There was when I bought it.
Does it show the same time as a cheaper time .
Because the rich and powerful use them to launder money.
They look like something you'd win in a bingo hall in the 1990s.
This is ridiculous 😂 the fact is they’re trying to justify 2.2 million dollars that’s crazy. I just can’t believe it 😂😂
What are you doing here if you find this ridiculous get a life first you watched the video than you troll wow

I bought a watch from amzwatch lightly used for my last milestone birthday. Don't wear it as much as it deserves, but not afraid to, either. It's stunning . Good taste, Sir.
Good for money laundering. How else can you move millions on your wrist? And who is going to notice the watch on your wrist?
I only knew about these watch because PGA Golfer Bubba Watson has one...all white...that he wears while playing golf. It must be very well built to take the constant movement of a golfer's swing.
Hey...if you can afford one...go for it!
RM owner to Timex Owner: "what time is it?" ... Timex Owner to RM Owner : "2:00 pm" ... RM Owner: "That's exactly what I got ... but it seems to be 2 million times more accurate to me!".
Funny thing is the Timex is MORE accurate. After a few days the RM will lose or gain a few seconds and the Timex will still be perfect.
Buying a top of the line watch that is 10 thousand percent more than even a Casio Watch is so ludicrous. If you do the math. It is like buying a tesla car for 400 million dollar. Buying a laptop for 40,000. Buying a happy meal for a thousand dollar.
I got one from Wish.. cost me £40 and everyone thinks I'm the Watch King... 🤣
👌
While I personally can't afford a RM watch , I live in a City where so Many people who you might see in a day Could afford to wear them . I honestly hope Videos like yours inspire men to take more pleasure in wearing Beautiful watches , every day!
Great video! It makes me able to appreciate them. But even if I was a billionaire. I don’t think I would buy one. I just really don’t like their shape!! It’s fairly unappealing to me.
I learned about the rms brand, thanks for sharing..
sad when a $50 watch lasts longer that a $2.2M watch.
How do u know that? Please talk only from experience.
Lovely, even i will buy them for me and my loved ones.
These timepieces are definitely for the rich and super rich and are way out my league.
Thanx for sharing information on RM watches. I could never own one of these watches but I can understand the allure of them in certain circles. Nowadays there are some very wealthy people out there. They need a way to spend their money and get the attention from others that they crave. Others, like myself, never even imagine a watch of this lineage. I have never seen one in real life. These watches look gaudy to me. But, who am I to judge?
Hahahaha..that reminds me of the King's new clothing story... looks like today they're Many kings...
nice but I prefer a Good Casio
You lost me at "unwavering accuracy"...
Accuracy is not why we like mechanical watches
My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from *amzwatch*
RM is beautiful but Only for the rich .. But my watch given by my Dad means a lot to me than RM..
I don't think people in the comments understand the value of watches to the rich. They are pretty much assets. It's no different than owning a painting. If you purchase a rare watch it's almost guaranteed it will go up in value over the years. So they try to buy them new hold it for years then the value will 5 - 10x. Rolex and Audemars Piguet watches sometimes 10x in the matter of months after they come out.
Amazing watches seen it and wore it once at a dealer and it’s a masterpiece
Casio and Seiko is da best, Richard mill screams "i can't manage my money"
No importa que ni de que este hecho, su historia o si tiene alma propia, es una verdadera locura el precio, hay miles de cosas mejores en que gastar el dinero.
I like how you think
I would love to have one and also a Rolex yacht-master2 but right now my Seiko Solar chronograph is pretty much "hellava" and for about only $550 can't beat that baby!!! Most people think it's a Rolex , but can't get close enough ...... Whatever, wore it to work and did all types of heavy construction work while wearing it....has taken a beating and still ticking.....hmmm sounds like a commerical I recall from my youth!!!
Its just the hype nothing else follows.
-Nice watch bro, what time is it?
-i don't know, let me check my phone
If I could afford one I still wouldn’t want one. Movements are cool. The watches look like a toy.
I would rather have a rolex or a nice eta movement watch, those rm don't look good or classy to me.
I too often ask myself, why ARE they ARE so expensive?
I wouldn't mind paying 1M for a watch of this caliber especially if I knew I had 99M more in my account..It would be a very wonderful experience to own a timepiece of such great quality and complex engineering and design..a wonder to behold in person up close I'm sure..I can appreciate quality and expertise when it comes to timepieces and other things as well like automobiles.⌚👀✨⌚👀✨
Even if I was rich I still couldn't spend $80,000 or a million dollars on a watch rather use my money for more important things
Well watches maybe not RM but Rolex,AP, and Patek hold value extremely well even go up so a 80k Rolex could go for 120K even more or at the very least hold the same value so watches are good investments and cool hobby to get into
@@RLoftonProductions Even if i was a billionaire i wouldn't buy a rolex. Rather have a Patek any day or even an old Mickey Mouse watch. If you're rich would you be that bothered about making £2 or £3K profit on a watch where they all look the bloody same(rolex). NO.
It's OK you'll never be as rich as the people that buy them 💁🏾♂💀💀
I play Euromillons which is currently at £165M. Likewise I'd never pay anything like this and I'd be embarrassed to wear a RM or anything covered in gemstones if I won a major prize. I might go as far as a VC Patrimony in gold. I prefer low key things not something that screams LOOK AT ME. I've got a Christopher Ward Malvern which cost under £500 and a couple of G-Shocks.
@@duncanbryson1167 if u had so much money u wouldn't be here announcing it
"the skeleton shape dial, the most famous design invention of RM". sorry skeleton dial has been around since forever, there is no invention here. RM has its own look, thats true. whether one accepts it as brilliant or not is subjective
These RMs will see their value tumble. Get a timeless piece from established and respected names, with proven staying power.
Jeez these RMs are uglier than the craziest Invictas.
Right even the frank muellers are nicer
I have the Richard Mille Whatch with the Skull !
You can't take anything away from the watch brand. Its had it's greatest success in marketing, they were able to get rap artist to push this brand for free, all while charging the highest dollar.that generated it's interest. The watch utilizes cheap hardened ceramics, and carbon.
I’d bet that one that Pharrell is wearing is probably a loaner or he got it for free.
You never said if it was battery or movement operating watch..
One simple word: hype. As long as there richbois to throw money into the winds there will be weird things like RM watches.
Respect to this engineering marvel..
This is the biggest waste of money i seen in my life

Jacob watches are far better
Its a wow..I have the Tag huer and this the watch I can afford.
I like RM watches, other established brands looks the same and most are like quarts watches with only their brand names and history carrying them plus they are also expensive. RM is different they are wonderful to look at, well in the movies, it pays that the main lead is also wow to look at.
G-shock exists
What if it falls? Are the tools really tight and safe ? How safe is it?
I could buy one but I’d rather buy more rolexes or PP, AP. RM looks like my sons toy watch and feels light like a toy. What’s more they are not even given enough respect to be placed on a bracelet but a rubber strap.
I will never understand paying exorbitant prices for something like this to impress others. The most I’d pay for something is if the quality improvement is substantial enough (ex: $1500 iPhone vs $700, $20k car vs $60k car, etc). Anything beyond a certain point is going to be 10% improvement for 3x the price
I have a rm11. It’s great. I wear it out to dinner all the time.
And no one cares or is impressed.
@@Resmith18SR no he doesn't
Absolutely Awesome!
RM I feel as a horophile is for new money like athletes, rappers or actors who got into big money suddenly and don't know what to do. I always feel it is overrated. Don't get me wrong- they're beautiful, but still overvalued
Glorious Mechanisms ⌚👀✨
The watches each of them are worth maximum $1000 there is only one proof super rich can waist a lot of money for nothing period.
Heh my $50 Casio keeps as good a time as these watches..
@@eugenechin2863 I fully agree with you I just gave them extra credit with $1000 because I believe their effort should be paid but if we withdraw their effort and put pure greedy capitalism we can say each should be for $100 but it won't be fair for hard working people.
LOL. That is why I only buy & own Citizen Promasters watches, 25 years the watch it wont need nothing no battery....nothing . price $ 200 to $450. it lock great & can beat it in performance.
You’re broke.
only for black rappers, black athletes, and black arabs
When i think of watches, rolex and tag DO NOT JUMP INTO MY MIND.
Owning one must be an amazing feeling but what this company has done in a way is brought these watches to everyone, just like amazing art work people get pleasure from looking at them, other watch brands are nice but a little boring, those old super expensive Rollex watches are super bland and your never going to be amazed at looking at it after the first few times, Richard Mille doesnt have this problem as they are works of art, and i dont have to own one to get that pleasure of staring at one. It would be nice though!!
@Halal Meat nah you jus a old head
