I bought this exact same backpack and it was fine for the first 6 months but then my cat ended up being able to crack the acrylic window. Since the backpack is now completely unusable I definitely wouldn't recommend getting the one with the acrylic portion and I would suggest getting the mesh option instead!
i wouldnt buy these types if you live in a hot place, those acrylic windows will soak up heat and stuff, the bubble ones do the same thing, that and it will be so scratched up in 3 months you wont even be able to see your pet in there anyways, the mesh windows are better in hot places, or a pack that you can take the bubble out and put a mesh window in, but in cold places the mesh windows kind of suck and let to much cold in, so it's this weird dance you gotta do to get a good one imo.

11 pounds and it was a bit cramped? They have several sizes, was this the largest one? My Siberian is already 14lb, struggling to find a large enough backpack for him...
