It takes a lot of guts to talk about these things, especially when it's out there for everyone to see. You're stronger than 99.9% of the rest of us, Pete. Keep punching. We're here.
Hey Pete, Wishing you so much bravery and courage in your new journey. TRT is a big part of my story and for me, it took 3-6 weeks to start feeling any benefits other than a notable increase in hunger. Vitality, energy, mood etc. was a slow and progressive journey. Month 2 felt better than month 1, month 3 felt better than month 2 etc. The key for me was to find the correct dosage of Test Cyp relative to my blood work, symptom relief, and side effect profile. I landed on 140 mg per week injectable after every week down from 200 a week early on. I'm around if you need a word. Best of luck.
After my 3rd battle, which was (statistically) supposed to be terminal. But some experimental treatments helped me kill off the tumors. That was serious mental stress for the last year. I visited councillors which kinda helped but a psychologist helped quite alot. And I find it hard to talk to people about things like that. I've been watching your videos for years now, and you've helped me stay strong for sure with the great positive attitude!! :)
I know how it feels going through such a traumatic event. I had many hormonal changes from being giving meds as a young kid which for a long time fucked my emotional state and health overall. I feel being able to stabilize and going to see your blood test is a major help in overall health.
I have no doubt that you are researching everything like I did when I got a kidney transplant, all I can say is just be careful because sometimes you can research a little too much and without realizing it the negative stuff will stick to you and you will become someone completely different. If there is anyone that I think can kick ass after having to lose both testicles, it is you sir. Keep kicking ass Pete because right now you are struggling in your head with everything but we still see a man that is kicking major ass. Peace.
Thanks for being so open and honest, Pete. We’re all here for you man. I went through a very difficult period from 9/17 - 5/18. One thing I had to realize is that I could make choices. I chose to start thinking in a mode that everyday was going to get a little better and I prayed intensely for this. It did. I look back now and things are completely different and I’m finally in a good place. You’ll find a way to cope, the testosterone will work and God has your back. Just keep thinking that way and good things will happen. Praying for your continued recovery and health. Godspeed.
Thank you for continuing to share your story. My fiancé has TC. He had surgery last October and is going through chemo right now. Because of you my fiancé started making sure he checks himself everyday, he started feeling a lump on his other ball a couple days ago and informed his doctor. Now we are waiting for his ultrasound results 🙏🏼🤞🏼

I just started TRT as well and today marks 2 months on. I actually started a video series on TH-cam to show progress and hold me accountable. I have a pituitary microadenoma, which is a growth on the stalk of my pituitary gland. It suppresses the hormones to produce testosterone. Anyways. I started on an injection every two weeks and by the second week I would start feeling rough again. And by rough I mean the brain fog would return. Before I started. I wasn’t depressed but many people would say that’s what it looked like. It was more of a no drive feeling. I could get up and do something but I had no drive to do it. My energy level was so low that id come home from work and fall asleep on my couch. I didn’t even have the energy to play with my 2 year old son. My marriage was struggling because of all of the mental symptoms that low t was causing. Since I’ve started everything has changed. It’s like looking at the world with a different happier set of eyes. It’s amazing man. I’ve moved to small injections everyday. They take less than 3 minutes and they keep my levels super stable. Seeing that you are on an injection every 2 weeks make me just want to give you a heads up or just try and get you some information. I would push your doctor or at least provide him some information to get it to where you can at least inject 2 or 3 times a week. Many people do it every 3.5 days. Such as Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights before bed. Another thing to take warning on is your estrogen levels. More frequent injects lower your chances of needed and anti estrogen. Do to the fact when you inject every two weeks your test levels can shoot above 2500 for the first couple of days and you risk higher chance of estrogen conversion. With twice a week injections your levels will go up to say 1200 and stabilize lower. Keeping that conversion down. Sesame oil is just a carrier oil for the test. Some pharmacies use cottonseed oil and a few other types. You may find that you are more sensitive to pip (post injection pain) on some carrier oils compared to others but that will take time. Anyways. I’m sure you have researched a lot but I hope some of this information help. Good luck brother! I’ve followed you for a long time and hopefully this show how thankful I am for your videos and how much of an amazing journey you have had. You are an inspiration to so many people. I’m looking forward to my journey with TRT as well as watching your story evolve into happier times. #D4L
pete, i had surgery for varicocele yesrs back and it was a transabdomimal 5” incision where they removed my testicles from my abdomen and i can tell you that even 10 years later, that pain around the incision was still there. its been 20 years now and i don’t notice pain anymore but keep in mind you may have to raise your waistline for a long time or switch off jeans for an extended time. sweat pants are easiest
The last time you took a trip and “unplugged” you mentioned how much more relaxed you were. That may be a good idea you had of getting away with Mel on a trip. Best wishes on your continued recovery. You are an inspiration. D4L!
Hey Pete I just want to say thankyou because your videos helped me talk to my parents about some soreness I’ve been having for the past 2 months and as a 16 year old weightlifter that was kind of hard. The doctor did find something unusual and a possible mass so I’m going for an ultra sound soon to see what the problem is. Fingers crossed it’s nothing 🤞. Keep up the videos man it truly is inspirational and makes things like this easier to talk about 💪
I was prescribed one shot every two weeks but the second week was always awful. I asked my doctor if I could split the dose and do a shot every week. Same amount but it's better. Best of luck. Hope you're feeling better soon.

Pete, if I could offer the least bit of help, it's to head over to the ExcelMale forums and read as much as you can. I also started TRT and had a world of questions. Sadly, the standard of care with regard to exogenous testosterone usage is nowhere near what is optimal in the US OR Canada. I think the solid majority of your questions could be handled very effectively by some of the experts over there. Bloodwork details, proper dosing for various reasons, method of injection, frequency, etc are all very common questions and finding answers to them helps you to feel much more comfortable and in control of yourself much more quickly once you know.

Your still awesome pete. I almost died. Was in the hospital for 3 months. Lost my place to live. Dropped down to 138. Stable now at 154 pounds. Looked unrecognizable smelled like ammonia. I don't smell anymore. I don't look myself but I sure don't look like I did. We're all dealing with a lot it seems. I was slipped testosterone some how in my food. I'm a female. So I grew in a certain place and my breasts shrunk. My breasts are ok but my female member if you will got bigger. I didn't want T. People are cruel. So I really admire you pete. We sure deal with some shit don't we? Love you brother and Mel too! Keep up the good fight and I will too. Oh and my masculine female name is Logan. What do you think? Nice strong male name right? Great to doing well under the circumstances Pete. Stay strong and take your time go bounce back. You have a whole legion of people who have your back. Take care man.
This is very therapeutic in many ways for me because I'm 23 now and I've had two surgeries in my below belt area. I was born so that one of my testicles were up somewhere where it wasn't supposed to be, in a too hot place and it had to be surgically removed and placed to correct place. Few years after that I had circumcision, because of tight foreskin. I couldn't pee with it. Those things happened back in 2001-2008 era. I started to go through puberty in 2007/2008(ish) and started having testicle pain. Didn't really care about it, because I thought everyone experienced it. It felt like both of my nuts were grinding each other in a way which causes pain. Just a few weeks ago I realized that's not the case. Then I decided to ask my friends and family members if they've ever experienced something like that and they said no... I'm going to see a doctor tomorrow and I hope that it isn't something to be worried about. I just hope that something hasn't been damaged down there because I didn't react fast enough to that pain. It has never been about being shy, I just thought it's natural to have pain in the testicular area.
@@jeivii Well, the doctor told me I don't have anything to be worried about, yet I still feel the pain from time to time and they didn't know the reason why. I've been able to produce a healthy kid after my comment so clearly it works in a way or another. The pain still worries me tho.
You're awesome dude! Keep up the great spirits. Lost my lefty a long time ago...and I'm only 28...and can't have kids because of some BS complications.

Any update ?
@@jeivii Well, the doctor told me I don't have anything to be worried about, yet I still feel the pain from time to time and they didn't know the reason why. I've been able to produce a healthy kid after my comment so clearly it works in a way or another. The pain still worries me tho.
Much respect to you, keep your head up it will get better.
Your dog was laying back there the whole time thinking "yadda yadda blah blah blah testicle blah blah." LOL
