Hi April! I'm popping in as a concerned fellow crafter. I'm a costumer and I regularly attach embellishments with e6000. That glue is INCREDIBLY toxic and can poison you over time. Please wear a fume respirator to protect yourself! They're an inexpensive item online, and a must for working with caustic chemicals.

Your body has no way to process it and remove it from your system. If the person affected loses weight in the future it can concentrate the toxins and the body will be poisoned. It can cause chronic illness, respiratory illness, and is a known carcinogen. If you can smell it, it can hurt you. Must use in a well ventilated area, with a respirator, away from pets and kids EVERY TIME.

I appreciate you explaining the steps as you are doing them. It would be great if you told us start to finish how long it took to do each project! Seam ripping and pinning seems to take forever and it would be nice to know how long it takes for a skilled person. Lol...Keep up the great work! Very inspiring to watch!
That suit is SO fun. What a fantastic find and such a clever re-imagination of its possibility! I especially love that the silver has a texture of its own, like the plaid.
The dresses were altered beautifully. The skirt looked best before than after. The purse was altered perfectly!
If she wanted to keep the style integrity intact with the skirt, she would have used the excess from the sleeves and made a less exaggerated flare, but she wanted business in the front, party on the sides, and it really works with her style.
I was just to write the same about the skirt!

In addition to trying on while you alter....BASTING things together may take just a tad bit longer but is a heck of a lot easier than sewing and then having to Rip Out and start all over again !

I recently stumbled upon your channel and love it. I went to fashion design school but sadly don’t work in the industry. I’d love to see you do a video making a sloper pattern for yourself. I personally felt like having a pattern of my body made creating custom garments and even alterations so much easier. The way you trace garments that fit you well is an amazing trick for those without a pattern making background but I think your teaching skills are so good that you could figure out a way to show your subscribers how to make a sloper too.

I love the Calvin Klein dress on you.. I just saw a very beautiful Cult Gaia dress that was unbuttoned after the top 3 buttons at top and they had matching shorts worn underneath. That would be cool to try with the dress you have. You are motivating me to sew again and I spent this week and last altering and up cycling thrifted clothing I have had for a while now. Thank you for this tutorial. It's really helpful when you mention which type of stitch to use along the way. At times, you don't mention it, so I guess you use a straight stitch. Would you mind mentioning for each step which stitch to use for beginners who are watching? Again, I appreciate the tutorial. You're giving me confidence to go thrifting!
If you need to hold trim or something similar down while the glue takes clothes legs are a great option. They are designed to hold over a reasonable length so fit down over the edge of bags or similar much better than bulldog clips do.

Great tutorial! I really like how all your projects came out. I have to admit my least favorite was your take on the skirt. I seen you do something like this for a relative special event.
