@@Acolis Trance was pretty underground for most of the 90s and not known very well worldwide outside of western/central Europe, many of the producers hailing from the UK and Germany which (surprise to no one) is where they were the most popular. Towards the end of the millennium, trance slowly started receiving more and more airtime on European radio; circa 2002-2005 it kinda hit peak mainstream/"billboard popularity" internationally and then slowly faded away after that. There are still plenty of trance producers out there today, though as you can imagine they are not well known for the most part and mostly have small dedicated cult followings. The producers of DHT probably just got tired of it after a while, and the general public probably just wanted to move onto something new. DHT disbanded in 2010 by the way, who knows the reason why but that's 99% likely to be a factor. However, they did release an album called #2 a few years back that contained a bunch of previously unreleased tracks so who knows, maybe they will make a comeback some day.
YEEEEEEAAAAAAAA THIS ROCKS!!
thx :)
