I remember learning Fur Elise when I was a kid and then moving onto more fun and beautiful pieces. Then I went to highschool where there was an untuned piano in the front of the auditorium and whenever we would have a study hall, some kid would go up to it and play Fur Elise and everyone would act like it was the second coming of Christ or something. Funniest part was that they skipped over the parts that are more difficult later on in the song than just the beginning bit.

I was hired for a wedding once, the bride asked if we could play this song on a loop throughout the entire wedding.
So we said sure. She pulls it up on her phone and it's our worst nightmare Canon in D...
    So we ask
    "How long's the wedding?"
    She answer, nonchalantly.
    "Oh it ends at eight!"
It was 6 in the morning.
    "Oh in the morning?"
    "No! At night!"

At least I find Czardas also taken seriously in concerts etc, so it's not as bad. I find a goods deal of Mozart overplayed, tbh. As a former student clarinettist, the Clarinet Concerto is overasked as an audition piece. Mozart's Eine Kleine and Turkish March are even more overplayed. And then there is his G minor Symphony No 40's first movement.
I think Chopin's Nocturne in Eb Major more overplayed, though. His Fantasie Impromptu I only knew about thanks to Roman Polanski's movie The Pianist.

In my country (Turkey), most of the schools use Für Elise as the school bell. I can't count how many times I had to listen to that intro in my school life and probably this is one of the reasons why I hated playing the original piece during my piano lectures.

But recently found a video of a overtune polyphonic singer singing it and that was one of the most impressive thing I've ever seen on TH-cam.

A piece that is incredibly easy but idk why I love it so much (especially playing it in an orchestra) is "surprise" symphony 2nd movement by Haydn
Another super simple one is Radetzky March by Strauss
But my favorite is by far capriccio italien by Tchaikovsky, I really love both listening to it and playing it.
(These all are pieces I have played and I quit violin a couple years ago so I was very little when I played them (about 12 or 13) so they're not that hard (capriccio italien is by far the hardest one). There's also a lot of memories involved so I like a lot of very simple pieces because of the memories associated)
But anyways... Go listen to capriccio italien, it's amazing

As a wind player I also hate Pomp and Circumstance. when my musical hearing started developing, whenever I warm up (flutist) I find certain intervals linking me straight to a song or a melody, and I sometimes just try notes one by one around the interval it actually is until it sounds right, and I don't know the names of the pieces and songs that I uncover sometimes.
the *interesting* part is, I sometimes have them transposed, severely. like, no flats and sharps, and then I check the score (if I know the name) and it's B major or something. This is so funny until you see that I struggled to keep the practice going because I was too distracted in the warmup. I've had this one in G minor, instead of D minor, and the whole thing up a few tones.
