I've been playing Asphalt since it first came out and it feels so good to see how this game has evolved over the years, it has that console feeling to it, Im definitely hyped.

Marwa Zreq Further into the career. It's called Overclocked however and works differently. Overclocking will increase your car's stats for a period of time (rather than just giving you infinite nitro) and after the timer runs out your car, instead of wrecking, gets its stats decreased (Overloaded) before returning normal. You get Overclocked the same way you get Infected and you increase the timer the same way. However collecting Nitro bottles will Overclock you so that's probably the annoying part.

I know Gameloft worked hard for this but I know people would love A9 And the game looks so cool and I know there are more good stuff that will happen in the future.
Honestly tho. I know the game is somewhat ptw but if you're like me who likes to experience everything to start out slowly and progress. The graphics tho are just unbelievable.

So happy about the graphics, they're truly amazing for a mobile game.
Oh so this is why Asphalt 9 Looks so Goddamn good
GameLoft does an excellent job with the visuals and the graphics, but there's just one problem. See, when A8 was released, it was immediately put on top of the list of best racing games for mobile, but when the updates began rolling out, the game began turning extremely buggy (don't get me started with the retarded random skids, fake speed and awful MP match making system). I doubt A9 would be any better, but I may be wrong. Hopefully, GameLoft must have been aware of all these flaws, learn from their mistakes and try their best to avoid these terrible bugs, but they massively broken my hopes after what they did in A8, but they still have a chance to redeem themselves and make things right with A9.
Even though A8 had bugs before, A9 will never have no bugs. There are no perfect games or apps that doesn't present any glitches or bugs.

So let's hope this game doesn't turn out into a buggy game like A8. I mean there are already problems on Android so if iOS & windows is good, then they still did a good job.
Talking about present situation, it's all graphics porno playing out. Gameplay mechanics are not as good as asphalt 8. These Asphalt extreme like driving physics is too bad for me. I would like to see asphalt 8 like gameplay mechanics. They need to remove this insane car shaking and improve nitro duration.
People just want the game to be like Asphalt 8. If that's the case, why a "New installment" in the first place? If you want it like A8, they should've just updated A8 with better graphics and more cars and tracks. They made a new game for a new experience. Not just a copy+paste Asphalt 8 with better graphics.
The devs are learning from the soft launch phase and they will add all good and kill all bad

A9 can go either both ways, actually be able to run well on most devices and be a great non P2W focused racing game or end up on the fate if A8 aka full of bugs and glitches and is 90% P2W

This is all good but you are heavily focused on real money to unlock cool cars. And even do not have the service so we can play game on its and android with same progress, you do transfer data to other OS but also put restrictions so you can not play game with same account on both phones
This does not effect as much as your greed does cars behind real money

AntiSnipe Ehh not really. Since Touchdrive makes the game's AI drive your car, it can handle against manual drivers well so long as your car has good handling. It handles turns without drifting better than an average player would, does its best to avoid hitting heavy obstacles / sidelines, and can nail relatively hard feats with ease (like landing between 2 moving trains after a jump in US West, going through the tight spaces in one part of the Rome track without hitting the walls, and some other bits of convenience).
Handling is the key stat for Touchdrive and if your car has bad handling the AI will find it tough to tackle sharp turns (especially those next to out-of-bounds areas like the dock in San Fransisco or the river by Rome) at high speeds without drifting. It'll also find it hard to chain certain nitro bottles too. Nitro management and stunting are still in your hands as well. But it's not all that bad of a system, just more convenient.

I feel like they should start moving away from the mobile platform. (Hear me out)They switched from DS games to mobile games, but now I feel they need to finally make the jump to PC games. They're clearly capable of making outstanding PC games, and if they could start making games specifically for the PC so that they can vastly expand their boundaries on how far they can really push their games, they would absolutely dominate Steam's free to play section and get tons of exposure.
I'm almost certain they have a whole bunch of crazy ideas for great games in terms of not only gameplay, but looks as well, but they are restricted to the capabilities of the mobile platform. For example, Modern Combat Versus, when watching someone else play the game you instantly go "holly shit what game is that?? I wanna play!" but then when you actually play it, there are certain elements missing or elements that are different from standard FPS games (For example no jump or crouch, short match times, lack of social features; not being able to add people that you play with to a friends list, and the simplistic mechanics) that make you take a step back and go "Oh yah...forgot this was originally a mobile game" and this basically instantly makes people not take the game seriously and walk away.
All that being said, I really do hope that they send A9 to Steam because I do want Gameloft to get more exposure so that they can get more resources, push boundaries, and over all just be a better company.

You do realise none of the racing games on mobile have any sort of open world feature in them. To have an open world, the map needs to render, either during gameplay or before gameplay. And to do either of that, its gonna need a huge amount of storage to be able to play. And it gets much worse when a certain device is compatible but still lags out due to crowded areas. So for asphalt 9 to have an open world, it will require at least 3-5GB of storage and at least 3GB for it to be played smoothly.
That being said, I’ve been playing Asphalt 9 for a while now. There’s no open world

If it's offline, there will be a higher chance of hackers and modded apks. This is why most games are online. So if hackers didn't exist, so will online only games (unless it's a multiplayer only game).

The date when we will release Asphalt 9 depends on our learnings during the soft launch phase. As soon as we feel that the game is ready, we will let everyone know before the actual release. You can expect the game to be released on iOS, Android and Windows 10.

If Asphalt 9's tracks have even more straightaways than Asphalt 8 did, we may as well forget every stat but top speed and nitro speed...
