- Let me show you how to make the first few rows of my Moss Stitch Shawl! Once you get the first few rows done it’s a repeating pattern. You can continue for an extra large shawl or keep it small like a granny square! Which method did you choose?

I started this 5 times before I figured it out. It’s working up pretty quickly and it’s so pretty.
It took me a few tries to finally get it right and now I’m on fire! Made a fall shawl for myself and working on Christmas gifts now! ❤️ Thank you for sharing this great pattern and video tutorial!!
Thanks! Been feeling low lately, and this pretty (and simple) shawl might just be the thing I needed to relax and feel a little more like myself again.
You're right in saying that once you get the first few rows done, it will become easy!! I've never used Caron Cakes before and now am an instant fan. The yarn is soft & doesn't split. I just started my 1st shawl to give to my Mom who is in a Nursing Home. I already decided to crochet a border instead of tassels since she's in a wheelchair. Awesome tutorial in getting me started....I'm excited to finish it!!
Fantastic, pray I nail this as I adore thjs stitch❤
I recently found your pattern for this via pinterest. I'm working up a shawl in the Caron Anniversary Cake in Monstera using an L hook, and your instructions and tutorial are so easy to use and helpful. Thank you for sharing this with the world! 💚
It took me many times to get it right too, because is the first time I try this stich, specifically increasing. Now, I'm very happy with the results 💪☺️
Thanks for the video 🤗💕
Nice! Thanks for clear simple instructions....😊👌🏽
Tried this using this video and pattern like 7 times and it alsways ended up with the few rows bumping up in the middle instead of a straight across like on the top. So frustrating. Would love to see a video of the entire pattern.
If I don't want to do a magic ring how many chains do I have to do to connect my circle?
Very nice...thanks!🌸
Great video...
I love this pattern am have frogged so many times! I don’t understand why my ends are not looking like triangles. Why are the growing in the wrong direction? Please help.
Looks like she doesn't care to reply to people
just wondering if you had to cut the yarn at the end of a row then work back into the shawl to keep the rows from having 2 colors on one row. Maybe this make sense and you understand what im asking
would it be possible to make a crescent shape shawl with this stitch? It looks so pretty. I prefer that shape so much more.
At the beginning of each row is the first sc stitch from previous row the same as same space as the chain 1 after u turned ?
Also how long does this type of shawl take to make ? 😊
So glad you did a video on this beautiful shawl and I love this stitch! The video is slightly blurry in a few places so I had a question when you start the row row ch 1 turn you place sc in 1st Stitch right ? When I tried this at first for some reason my top part was not straight 😊
I’m following you on Facebook and I love your post and great sense of humor
What size Hook do I use, please?
She said h hook on her blog
I have the hardest time seeing and feeling where the stupid chain one spaces are... so aggravated
Klara King same here
Try using a larger hook or try crocheting a bit looser.
It’s tricky! But I finally noticed that the point of the triangle is the only spot that has the sc + ch 2 + sc. The sides of the triangle will increase by 1 each row, it seems.
Thanks for the video. Would appreciate if you went a little slower!
