Excelent video, dear instructor. Just a quick inquiry, is there an option to check the stress profiles of both beams along the working plane z-axis (Sigma-x)?
@@theperception9311 Thank you so much for your prompt response and your help. The stress values in the whole components are shown in 26:20, but I managed to see the stress distribution profile along the nodes in the center of the beams using the "Path Operations" option shown in 18:42. I will recommend this video to all the people in my circle that may find it useful. My best regards to you, sir.
@@Tanukiureshi i appreciate it. yes, path operations can be used to see the stress distribution along a specific path. Nodal solution data can be used to see overall distribution.
@@mohammedabdulla6239 if its a simple stright cut then you can do it in the apdl itself, if the crack has any complex profile then better to model it in CAD softwares and import into apdl.

Thankyou. You can see the stress profile from the nodal solution data 26:20

Great explanation, BTW i need to create inclined crack on Aluminum plate in APDL, how can ido that please assist me
you can rotate the work plane to the required angle and can use that to cut the geometry, refer 8:18
@@theperception9311 thanks, but after rotating the workplane to the required angle, how to create crack
@@theperception9311 if you have any material on how to create crack, please provide me with the link or something about that
