One thing you mentioned really stands out in the rear seat that separates it from practically every other small sedan. It has rear A/C vents. No other compact sedan under $35k has these vents. Not even Acura’s $50k Integra.
Jeez..its a economy car with quite a bit more power than all the rest out there that comes loaded with features like the drivers aids that work very very well...nice electronics package with the infotainment system that looks nice and works very well..good fuel mileage with a nice ride, with the largest trunk and best warranty in its segment. Ive owned Civic, Corolla, Elantra, and Chevy Cruze diesel over the last 10 years and this Forte GT2 is the nicest and definitely the fastest economy car Ive ever owned
Just got exact color make model year. ABSOLUTELY love it ,was gonna get a 2022 Kia k5 I love that k5 but wanted something BRAND NEW. I 💯 recommend this car. It's beautiful
Great review Anthony! I would have never guessed that car would be that inexpensive. That exhaust note is so sweet and the car really looks great. I have not bought a brand new car in a while but I would for sure with this one if I were looking. Hoping that you are doing great...and dry lol!
Just bought the 24 pearl white Forte GT with the GT2 package. It has the 8 way driver power seat along with heated and cooled front seats. This is our first Kia. I do fleet maintenance for a living and we take very good care of our vehicles. I use premium lubricants and filters and never wait until the recommended service intervals. This car with 40 series tires really is happy on a curvy road. Driven conservatively we are averaging between 36 and 40 mpg on every trip so far. As far as price, we waited until the 24 closout deals and picked ours up for $24795. We enjoyed the review.
@joeb2588 I am sure. Ive driven both. The automatic is faster, personally I like it better than the manual because it switches so fast, but that's just me.
Great review, however the longevity and overall quality can't compete with Honda, Toyota or Subaru. And the dual clutch transmission is s serious weakness. KIA and Hyundai have had recalls on that transmission and the CVT is no match for the CVT in either the Honda, Toyota or Subaru. As for price of the vehicle, compared to the other competitors in this segment, you get what you pay for! I've owned several Hyundai's and I've owned a KIA. And no thanks. I won't buy another KIA or Hyundai product. I own a Hyundai now and in the last 9 years, it's cost me over $7,000.00 with issues (repair costs).
not really considering there were only 2 pre owned ones within 40 miles of me i just got a brand new 2024 last night because the used ones were still going for around $24,000 with around 20k miles - 35k miles
@user-yv8cb2xb7k I just took 23 gt to kia to sell, they only offered me 21k, car is in pristine condition, 6 speed, they said it's the cleanest one they've seen. Fully waxed, de badged, premium dark tint, 3900 miles

Kia did a great job with this one
That part!

They are nice vehicles and I agree the price on this is even better. Thanks James Florida weather you never know when it’s sunny or raining 😁

6 speed manual option has to be great
Thanks for sharing
Dct auto is faster
@barshalen99 yah, possibly. Not sure. DCT has more weight and certainly not as fun.

I got the 2021 gt 6 speed very fun
I have an audi A7 and I want to lower my bills. This looks like an awesome option that my wallet will love
They are nice vehicles 👍
Great thorough review
Thank you Steve
what about the engine burning issues, kia boyz issues?
In older models like 2010, 2012 and 2017 not so much now with the 2.0 liter but the GT is the 1.6 liter 👍
Does the 2.0 engine comes with a manual transmission?
@@Balaensau no
Nice looking car👍
Kia makes some good vehicles
Wait are you in Lakeland lol? I used to live like 2 minutes from there

10 year/100k miles. Honda only has about 50/60k 5 years
honda has the best cvt I can vouch
@@barshalen99Honda’s warranty almost isn’t necessary. I’d blame the owner rather than Honda for any of most of your malfunctions.
automatic. meh.

@@HawkeyeRides Right. Which is why I intend to buy a GT Manual before the K4 drops.
The resale value is garbage, you'll lose 7 grand when you sign
That’s average with all vehicle 25-30% 👍

@@RichGANG-l9bWhat the dealership is selling them for isn’t what they paid for it. If they are selling for $24k then they bought it for less.
Honda is gonna last a lot longer than that piece of crap!!!
They seems to stay on the roads just as long 👍
That's weird. my 2020 Kia forte GT could beat any Honda SI or Honda Accord 2.0 turbo and I never had any trouble with it
