Can you believe Ruby Spears did the animation? It's a little weird that an animation studio that made so many kid shows in the 80s, would also make something for an R-rated horror movie.
When you look at the Good Guy packaging, the character is wearing a few different outfits - cowboy, construction worker, native american - he probably had a soldier costume that came with the gun
Yes, it has an orange barrel and looks to be pointing to his right side. I have trouble seeing it, it almost looks like a tool a teacher would use or a big game controller.
