Yeah like running over snd crushing Ross - in arg about concept of evolution episode and ' Drama queen Rachel-pushover, Monica- control freak, Chandler- a lot of things... She was yeah, a rough road roller.🙂
When Phoebe said, "You don't make a very good first impression." I felt that. That is true to myself and probably to many people. Mostly in interviews.
6 years back, I was in a job interview, which I thought didn't go super well. The boss still called me 2 days later, he had called up my former job, and they had given a good recommendation on me.. After a good talk on the phone, I got the job 😊
I've been told the same thing. My brother once called me 'an acquired taste'. It really sucks in interviews, because that one chance is all you get and I feel like I've lost some of them because I didn't come off well. Once, at a job I did get, they told me that it was a rough first two weeks for them and they almost considered cutting me loose, but they eventually decided to give it another two weeks to see if there's improvement. I started to relax more and get into the routine of things, even taking a bit of initiative and things only got better from there on, but that first impression leaving a bad mark really bites you in the ass sometimes. Some people are just a bit slow to start and fit in. These days, when I do interviews, when they ask me what some of my lesser qualities are, this is one I often bring up, hoping they get the message. I also encourage them to call my last job and ask them about my performance, so they can verify I'm not just saying it to cover my own ass. Still doesn't always work, though.
Any place/boss that can't come down off its high-horse for a little potty humor is no place to work. And the Bada Bing joke was great, definitely something you lead with. The look Phoebe gave when he delivered it is the _exact_ reaction that you want to such a thing; mild disgusted that would turn into a reluctant smile for most other people. Such is the precision of a well crafted Dad joke.
The "fatty" part is totally was imrovised by Matthew. Its obvious how Rachel reacted, it wasnt acting at all hehe plus she was about to respond These improvs make this show to be the gold and one of its own ❤ never ever gets old or boring
Honestly it does not surprise me that Monica and Chandler moved on quickly. Phoebe constantly bullies and looks down on Chandler since forever, she does not really like Monica if we are truly honest and while it is understandable to an extent, it is fake. Rachel was not as bad but she also looked down on Chandler on multiple occasions especially when talking to Phoebe about he and Monica. Chandler is also a saint for literally supporting Joey for almost a decade and he barely got anything back for it. Chandler was without a doubt the best person in the group followed by Monica.
I think as much as Ross is made fun off, he is a decent guy to be around outside relationship stuff unlike the other friends (not including Monica and Chandler)
@madscientist3134 I think his marriage ending with Carol and the whole ordeal with Ben messed him up a lot. And while that is understandable, he was the most privileged out of the six. His entire life he was treated as a prince who could do no wrong, esp by his parents which is why he naturally assumed he could do no wrong either which is borderline narcissistic. It did not click on him until it was too late and Rachel pretty much summed him up, compulsive, possessive, could not let the little things just go. He is not a bad guy for sure, he simply never learned how to take accountability and to solve things easily, always had to complicate things because being seen as a failure in his mind is the worst.
@@madscientist3134 Ross sucks at relationships but him buying Pheobe that bike was prolly one of the many gestures that showcased what a great friend he was.
@@nicknelson9450 wish it was a funny take. Yep, short-sighed of those who think the overrated show remotely resembled their lives. :) Perhaps they fail to recognize how ordinary people live :)
@@syedhammadali4184 Hmm. Ok, I'll bite....and see where this take me. I imagine you've maybe faced a lot of adversity and hostility in your life to be so worked up about what most people would no doubt consider a relatively innocuous TV show? Would you care to share your reasoning in a little more detail? We all have our ups and downs, and it's true that the, I'd say, lower-to-middle-class america that's depicted, sometimes with a bit of poetic licence, in this show, or plenty of others, probably has it relatively easy compared to *some* parts of the world. Their main flat, for example, would be out of reach even for them in the real market, but it seems to me that many of the concerns which are joked (or not) about in the writing are those which many of us deal with in our daily lives too, no? ... interacting with neighbours, friends, lovers, anyone you might bump into really, jobs, money, hobbies, personality quirks, self-doubt, self-awareness, childhood traumas, you name it...I mean those are prettty universal pieces of the puzzle for a lot of us, no? If none of those are on your own life radar, then I'm sorry and yes, clearly you wouldn't be the primary target audience. But does that make the show fundamentally poor? Personally I thought the writing was clever and the acting remarkable, but I am aware that it wasn't overwhelmingly earth-shattering either...that might in fact have been part of the appeal: a bit of light distraction...and I have to say that I cannot fathom how some, not sure what the numbers might be, seem to despise it * so * terribly. My understanding is that the show was pretty well-received in a very large proportion of the world's cultures, right? If you think all those people are misguided in their appreciation of it, then I guess there's maybe not a lot I can say to make you reconsider. Maybe you could articulate a little bit what you found so awful about it, and give some examples of shows or films, writing and acting which you would consider far superior to this? Remember, I don't think it was putting itself forward as anything profound...I mean there are a lot of things I would consider more admirable and definitive in this format in terms of story-telling and crafsmanship. Examples? Maybe Black Mirror for TV or, say, something like Amadeus or 2001 for movies, among many, many others, but those are relatively cerebral and not something you'd necessarily always be in the right frame of mind for...whereas rewatching an episode of Friends or two is just a short escape in the world of silly, easy-watching entertainment. Take it easy.
Phoebe was really good at making others feel bad about themselves.
Agree. Don't understand people thinking she's quirky and fun. She was nasty.
She specifically hated Chandler for some reason
@@Doodmeister0 She hated Ross too, the reasons are frivolous due to her lack o formal knowledge (e.ge "The Great War" comment)
Pheobe was barely a friend to Chandler and Ross. she was jabbing at them with every opportunity.

Out the gate, he couldn’t help but crack the “bada bing” joke 😂
TIL he was referencing the phrase "bada bing bada boom". I just thought he was saying he had an uncle who had an unusual name "Bana".
I would've hired him on the spot. 🤣

I would be so mad at Phoebe for getting me even more nervous.
Phoebe really helped him until the interviewer relaxed him 😂😂

When Chandler said “Hey Phoebe “, my Siri started to listen 😂
I feel Chandler would make a great impression!
i don't think his teachers ever taught him the concept of quitting while you're ahead
And why would you even actually Quit when _you're ahead_ ? That seems to be Objectivelly just a _Horrible Lesson_
(lol what)
Phoebe’s a real one
Great little skit , friends is so good
He was so close....
Poooo?
Rachel didn't have the heart to tell him 😢
3:12 looks like he broke a wee bit o character there but the makers still kept it
there's something wrong about the left phelange
Phoebe was always the .voice of reason out of the girls
We all know someone like this, throwing negativity at us when we are happy.
Even though it's silly that Phoebe could improvise being an interviewer like that, it's impressive how they can do that as actors
bodra bing😂😂😂😂
So did he get the job? :)
Nope.
How could Rachael run away from him, if she has one leg shorter than the other?
2:49 😂
Okay, I'll say it, and i don't care for consequences, phoebe is hot i mean flaming hot
No
Pheebs in the later seasons was peak
That suit is like 2 sizes too big. Wow.

Imagine an interview for some more adult jobs.
Many dumping on Phoebe while she's just being honest, it's because of her that Chandler had any chance in that interview at all

Nope.

What is wrong with the duties? And poo!!! Don't understand!
The way the guy pronounced "duties" seemed a bit like "doodie" (so, poo) and Chandler was VERY tempted to throw in a joke about it.
Phoebe set it up ,she said "doodo "
