I think best of the year so far.
every couple weeks i go around town sampling fragrances. i smelled elixir a few times but yesterday for some reason it just hit different. it might be my number one favorite winter fragrance of all time right now.
id really enjoy a video of you smelling diffrent aroma chemicals and playing around with them trying some common accords
Le Parfum it's absolutely more versatile than elixir. Besides, it doesn't project as much as elixir. I have both and both are amazing, but i like LP more.

I’m actually going to buy the OG Le Male soon. Probably the 2017 Holiday edition. I know it’s old, but I think it’s almost so old that it isn’t old! As in, who wears it now? 😂
I think in the drydown le male elixer smels al lot like tom ford noir extreme
I had trouble when I got Le Male Le Parfum. I thought that I got scammed. I got it last October. I didn’t know how to open it.

I find JPG is one of the best parfumes brands out there, I love most of their releases. This was no different, I freaking love it, I thought it was going to be a hype, but no, it is great.
They consistently match my taste and I could wear my entire life only jpg fragrances

I’m beyond picky on the performance with all cologne’s as I feel most don’t live up to their BS by other experts or reviewers. This does! Beyond impressive. Buy it now before they reformulate it!
I have to say JPG Elixir is absolutely Amazing Fragrance 🤘 But my JPG King 👑 is staying where it was at JPG Le Male Parfume ♂️ It's more manly and last longer on my skin 😎 Also I have to say that I feel like JPG Elixir is aimed more at younger Dudes 🤠
I bought my first bottle last week and have decided that I better buy another this week before the end of the year. Most likely it will be hard to get after this opening year. Great compliment getter overall! Cheers!
I tried this yesterday. It was like the Le Parfum at first then quickly became more complex with the honey and tobacco. Then the honey falls away and the tobacco takes over making it a darker fragrance. I could still smell it when I went to bed 👍
I sprayed it on my wrist yesterday at like 4pm, took a shower and went to sleep and i can still clearly smell it at 8am

No front but I dont understand what everyone finds in this and scents like Boss The Scent Magnetic for example (similar style). Could you elaborate a bit? For me it is overly sweet & synthetic to an obnoxious & aggressive degree. Combined with the crazy performance I would never wear it but I am also a bit sensitive to sweet scents.

@@Handstyleshavent tried the boss one, but I hate Paco Rabanne frags in general, Invictus especially. I love sweet scents, but man, they just smells so synthetic, cheap and like a 14 year old.

I owned Le Parfum and always felt like it was missing something. Elixir truly makes up for what Le Parfum was lacking. It's a beautiful rich fragrance.
I'm going to get this but I'm going to wait till the price comes down. Way to much.
Over hyped
Do you think you will review the new Dr Squach colognes? They advertise them like crazy and their claims are wild. They say it’s better than a 300$ fragrance lol Would be an interesting video for sure.

Cant go wrong with either of these gems. Last fall/winter I wore parfum and this time around its elixir. Both big winners that definitely please (nearly) everybody. Great review
PS: Avoid this gem in the heat. Mfr is HEAVY

Most hyped, but Le Male Le Parfum IS still better IMO
The elixer is a compliment magnet! Ladies love it! I get so much attention when wearing it at work but its gonna be in the 90's all this week in my area so im a little sad that this is gonna have to be on the backburner. Hawas and ADG Profondo will be my heavy hitters this week, till the king Elixer makes his return!
How does Hawas smell really? No bs from reviewers I want to hear the opinion of a true wearer. I want to blind buy but thinking of two bottles so I don’t have to pay for shipping.

The opening smells fantastic, but possibly one of the worst dry downs i've ever smelled makes me gag. Seriously nasty dry down it's like an animalic leathery burnt hair type dry down it's gross af

just looking at this bottle gives me a headache
When I smelled it I decided that it was well worth the $80 I'll pay for it later but not the $160 they were asking to get it now.

The Elixir is similar to Le Parfum only in the first 2 minutes.
Why compare it to the masterpiece le Parfum. You can use them in different situations. I love Elixir and will soon get me a couple bottles but I think Le Parfum is a gem and shall not be forgotten. Ultra Male is the king of the line and will always be my staple. The OG Le Male is still the one I crave the most in the mornings and will never get tired of it. The one I’ve been thinking over and over is the discontinued Le Male Essence de Parfum. Because I think it was up there along with Ultra Male. A shame it’s gone.

This is a great fragrance but PERSONALLY, Le Male Le Parfum is still the best JPG fragrance in the line.
I’ve owned Le Parfum for a few years now, and I just pulled the trigger on Elixir last week during Macy’s 15% sale. I freaking love it.
It’s worth having both but I still prefer the Parfum. Happy to own both though.
I picked up at Macy's for 15 percent discount. I don't usually buy from retailers but this time I did. I habe le parfum. It's amazing

@@wynonasbigbrowndragon6121 Here's it's called Pharmaprix but it's the same store. I have two in my neighborhood and neither stores have it yet. I've been asking them for both Le Male Elxir and Acqua Di Gio Parfum. Neither have hit here yet and it's so frustrating.

The elixir is a 10 out of 10 for a designer fragrance, and this is coming from someone who’s very deep in the niche world.
It screamed Naxos vibes to me at dry-down.
I was anticipating this JPG elixir and when my local Macy’s got it, I was so disappointed! The notes looked phenomenal does it last a long time yessssss but it absolutely did nothing for me! When I smell a fragrance I try and put my mind set on how a woman would perceive the smell and to me this doesn’t do it! When I meant a woman that’s just my preference I don’t judge to whom your attraction is to ❤ stay blessed ✌️❤️
Kinda sad nowdays that you have to preemptively state that you don’t mean any offense to any people just by stating that you like women.
Think Le Male Elixir is targeted mainly for the younger crowd (teen to early 20's) because of the hyper Tonka, Honey, Vanilla sweetness bomb. Doesn't mean older men can't wear it but I think if you already own Le Male le Parfum as a guy in his later 20's to 30's just stick to the Le Parfum it's a classier, more refined scent with the Iris and Cardamom that give it that extra bit of sophistication.
@@patrickpolak2402 I agree with you and OP. It is too sweet and one note/monotone for me. It is ok but I dont want to smell like a piece of vanilla cake plastered with honey. Le Parfum is way superior in my opinion.
I love this juice! Egg just wearing it in. Fall and winter! I wear it all year long just go 2 sprays max in the summer and still get crazy compliments
I have the biggest bottle of Le Parfum. I think its a 200ML. Im not more than 20% through the bottle, and im not in a rush to get the Elixr. Seems redundant.

Most hype for sure, but certanly not the best. For my taste it's too sweet. Le Male le parfum and Ultramale are better flankers imo.
Luna Rossa Ocean EDP is best release this year imo, but many people don't like it

Defo my fav JPG frag. It smells amazing and is quite versatile. And I dont think its similar to le parfum, as I rly dont like that. The iris ruins it for me

I definitely get the mint in this but it's not strong mint or in your face mint. More subtle but definitely there. Perhaps the vanilla or honey tones it down?

several frags from my collection are iris dominant. I love the note.. It's more of a spicy-non powdery note I don't mesh with. :)
I’m actually wearing Le Parfum today and waiting for my Elixir in the mail. So I’ll have to compare them. I just sprayed it and can’t tell what notes are there from smell. Stuffy nose doesn’t help lol!

I think both elixir and le parfum smell AMAZING, but for me i prefer le parfum right now. I think elixir is a bit too powerful IMO and i am a bit tired of it cause everyone at my school wears it.
Just sampled it and it’s actually amazing. I have only JPG le male in the navy but this elixir is a fall/winter staple. A few spritz in the air and everyone in the house loved it too.
I am trying to get into collecting scents and I watch a lot of these review videos and honestly they leave me very unsatisfied. The most important information for beginners is usually missing. As in defining sillage, distinguish it from projection, unpack longevity as in what happens to the base notes, what notes subside and which ones become more prominent in the course of the day as the scent is wearing out, how does the climate affect the scent etc. lastly, I think more quantitative information would be ideal, as in sillage is X feet, projection x feet, longevity X hours.

At first i liked the le parfum the best but now i actually like the Elixir way better it just amazing
I’m in the minority but this doesn’t do it for me. I actually get a lot of the original in the opening of elixir and I’m not a fan of that one either. Of all the JPGs I’ve tried, I like the Le parfum the best overall. I like the dry down of ultra male but the opening is a bit too sweet for me. I own 30ml decant of UM (BPI) and a 10ml of Le Parfum, I’ll probably get a partial of Le parfum at some stage
Imho Le Male Elixir is the son of Le Male Le Parfum's DNA and the Stronger with You Intensely's DNA.

I like it, but it smells too similar to Lynx Chocolate which really puts me off, sort of smells cheap

Elixir is very similar to Gaultier 2(squared) which is now discontinued.
