It’s a risky relationship structure but it can work very well if all parties are on the same page. You have to be clear about boundaries. A poly relationship usually isn’t the same as an open relationship. You’ll usually have a set group of people who are in the relationship who all love each other (some may not be romantically involved but need to not be jealous) and then adding people needs to be something everyone wants.

It’s a risky relationship structure but it can work very well if all parties are on the same page. You have to be clear about boundaries. A poly relationship usually isn’t the same as an open relationship. You’ll usually have a set group of people who are in the relationship who all love each other (some may not be romantically involved but need to not be jealous) and then adding people needs to be something everyone wants.

Forced myself to start conversations until people started seeing me as someone who was always up for a convo, and since that's the expectation they had of me, it reinforced this personality I had made up.
