When Princess Diana died I was in my mid 20’s and my children were very young so to help make ends meet without needing to pay for childcare I worked night shifts in a local nursing home , so that particular night I heard about it very early in the morning as I got all the old people their medicine and got them bathed and dressed. All the old people and all the staff were very shocked. My shift finished at 8 am and I used to walk home as we didn’t have a car and that morning I walked home very sad.

Didn’t know she had died. I think the toothpaste is called Eucryn? As you know, my cat Mollie is the same as Doug and recently she had to go into hospital to have two teeth out and they had to shave her little leg for the needle and her skin is grey so I think Doug is grey like Mollie. My mum was a Freeman’s agent for over 40 years. So much excitement when the cataloge used to arrive. Good times. My Auntie Barbara used to buy me some lovely stuff from Avon when I was young. I loved it. This was 1970s stuff. Cannot wait to see my little kittens. Lesley x

When Princess Diana died I happened to be home sick from work on the couch with salmonella poisoning, so I had the news on repeat all day. I watched ALL the coverage that day and was absolutely devastated. I remember saying to my husband when he got home that it was lucky that she didn't die because at that point she hadn't yet - and his words were something like "don't say that!"... What a sad time that was. I loved Diana - I had my haircut like hers (not quite to the same effect lol 😂😂😂) and we got up at the absolute a** crack of dawn with our paper crowns on to see her get married. Haven't watched the documentary because I don't want to get sad.

Yes I stayed up all night I was so sad I was visiting a friend and I’m telling you the truth there was such an odd feeling in the air around me it felt like the the other realm was in a state of unrest and mourning. I swear I felt it and more kept hearing a man and woman’s voices I thought it was somebody in the home but no I kept checking and they were asleep

He’s been hanging around and we live in the country so I started feeding him. Found out he’s our neighbor’s cat lol But she told me sometimes cats decide who they belong to and if we want him we can have him! He’s the sweetest boy.
